I've heard that the Lunsford kit takes care of the 5-link lean though don't know for sure and I'm not going to test them lol

Decided to show my shelfer some love today with:

Lunsford trailing arms
A&L/Factory Works front and rear shock towers
JG front body mount
MIP bellcranks
Andy's front arms
RPM upper shock bushings

More to come

RogueIV wrote: Thu Oct 20, 2022 11:18 pm Not trying to thread jack but what is the difference in length of the JRX2 and JRX-T chassis? I'm starting to get a feeling that this 5 link chassis I have may be a Truck chassis and not a Buggy.
Looks like about 1/2-5/8 of an inch, JRXT has more kickup and is shaped a bit differently:

Re: My JRX2 restore/race build

Welp, qualified first in the Vintage B main and had the lead til the very last lap when I buffed it lol With the exception of a turnbuckle the old girl didn't let me down all weekend. So fun actually racing a JRX2 after after 30+ years. Good times!

Re: Thorp Dirt Burners Losi JRX2 LRM Gears

Funny, I picked up a JRX buggy for parts and was pleasantly surprised to see Thorp gears and MIP diff rings. I went ahead and picked up a non-slipper topshaft and output gears for my shelf queen.

Nope, on the motor leads. Used a cap from my Hobbywing Justock ESC since I had it handy.

Re: My JRX2 restore/race build

Getting the runner ready for the Kinwald Classic this weekend. Going up against B2s and XXs so I doubt it'll be all that competitive but it will be fun! Hoping my 88/89 vintage Tekin ESC600 Pro XT holds up, was surprised it even worked lol

Re: Jammin J-550 Pro-SE Steering Enhancement Kit

Nice! I noticed when I tried the LXT carriers on my JRX2 that the camber location on the LXT carrier is higher and results in more camber gain and bump steer even at the highest spindle setting. The new camber location on the tower would probably solve this.

Cool stuff but never understood the need, unless someone was running insane power on a high-bite track. Even though there weren't any way back when.

Ah yes, I remember that mechanical speed control from running my RC10 in Production way back when. Good times!

Not sure if this has been posted here but thought this was a cool video from the '87 IFMAR Worlds, skip to about 4:23 to see Pops Losi discussing the Yokomo C4: https://youtu.be/M57Jss11EPg
