The car looks sweet! What body is that?

I have a set in both black and white. If my black ones are dyed, they are an exact match of RPM black parts.

The manual states that is can take up to 8.5 turn brushless. They do not recommend anything lower for the 6 gear tranny.

Has anyone heard if parts, to an extent, will be interchangeable with the XX-4? Mainly I just want to know if the 22-4 belts will work on the XX-4. That clip was fun to watch. I'm curious what kind of lap times a re-re worlds car would be to post with a "capable" driver. Do you guys think that the WC would be competitive with modern cars?

What year was this car/prototype produced?

I like that chassis. Do you run it at all and if so, how does it drive?

In my opinion the 5 link car was coolest thing ever produced. I've always been an AE guy, but once I got my hands on an original Jr-X2, I may have had a change of mind. The engineering on this car is beautiful!

Your car looks to be in great shape. It seems from the pictures that all you need is a body and a battery box. A very nice car indeed! Good luck on the restore...do you plan to run it or is it a self queen?
