Re: Best live bands
Hmmm..... The Beastie Boys| Was lucky enough to see them at the Sasquatch festival a few years back. AMAZING show. Drove like 3 hrs to watch the show, (literally, we wanted to see JUST them even though it was a 3 day festival) and then drove home. RIP MCA!! Other shows- -Pearl Jam - Eddie Vedder dr...

Oople.com is quite a good format and usually helpful, although I'd second the comment about this place being more friendly. I love OOPLE. Even though I am from the US, I dig the conversations over there. I agree, as a Racer, I like RCTech. I think its intention and purpose IS more Technical and gea...

Which Hobbywing? http://www.hobbywing.com/product.asp?bigclassid=13&subclassid=45 There are 2 types of programming cards LCD and LED, and you should be able to adjust them manually. http://site.hobbypartz.com/hobbywing/HW-13-V2.pdf If all else, http://www.rctech.net/forum/electric-off-road/50775...

Out of curiosity, does it have a Date on the mag?
Yea, to think that NOW such a "tip" would be blasphemous to members here, as someone stated, I'm sure many of us were guilty of it BITD.

My old 4runner. I hated to sell it, but it got backed into by a semi and in addition to the damage, the motor started to go. SR5 Turbo model too! My other favorite car, my 85 Corolla AE86 Coupe. Lots of $$ invested. probably getting sold before too long. We're buying a bigger house and I just don't ...

I work for a hobbyshop that sells a lot of the "Chinese" helis.
Pretty much every manual has some strange CHIN-Glish translation. (Chinese to English) It makes me laugh. If I would ever learn Chinese, I could make a fortune translating the manuals for these companies properly.

Tough loss. But if you think about it, look at all the technology he saw over the years and how things had progressed. Its funny that some of the younger "kids" I race with sorta understand Nimh packs but mainly run lipo. Insert old man voice " back in my day, a pack was only good for...

Yep took the plunge about 2 hours ago. Nothing like having the feeling like you have been kicked in the nuts which won't go away. Well on my way to shooting blanks  Jake I remember the feeling, I had one done soon after my 2nd son was born. Its a great feeling to know there won't be any &q...

Re: New Speed Passion ESCs
I've been using the SP stuff for quite a while. I have three GT2.0 pro and the GT 2.0 LPF version. Both are excellent. I love the tune-ability of the software. I've been eyeing the.new Rev pro series. I might opt for R version for running blinky and superstock. Any issues, and I've had very few, hav...

Re: No one has any imagination. . .
Its so hard to be innovative when "foreign" manufacturing seems to take the same idea, make it with poorer quality products and sell it cheaper. Regarding the Losi 22, I find it somewhat ironic that a company that has produced mainly "plastic/Composite" cars released a chassis th...
