**Update**

Though I haven't cleaned it yet, upon further inspection, I think its another 6gear!

I really want to find some accessories for this. Anyone know if some more "modern" parts will adapt? namely wheels?

First RC was my RC10 T2, which i still have. Needed something that would take the abuse and stand up to a novice driver. I later got a b3, then sold that for my B4. So here is what I have in the AE stable: RC10- (original 6 gear, never run) RC10CE- freebie! I plan to restore for racing RC10T- Freebi...

Are the 4wd MIP kits worth it? do they function well? I always wanted one, but alas never had the $$ or the car till now.

My wife has no idea how excited I get when I see a box on the front porch with some long-sought vintage item inside. She doesn't get it. Most people don't. It's my little secret. When i was younger, I just explained it to my folks like this " Hey, I could spend $$ on this, and get the enjoymen...

Cleaning older RC10

So I was given an RC10 a while back, and its quite dirty. I'd like to tear down the whole thing and inspect it for damage and wear. Something that struck me as an option to clean this was my dish washer. Is this recommended? or should I use regular dish soap and warm water? I thought I might take th...

I think too, looking at the materials, the "metal" and solid feel of a kit. Small side note. When I acquired my RC10, it also had the manual with it. I attended the RCX later that year (cause i was working for my LHS at the time) and took with me the Manual hoping I might see some of the A...

I could try and contact a buddy who has access to an injection mold and try and get a copy of one of my shells. Might take some time, but i seriously would love to find a body that would fit this shell.

Fascination w/ the "old stuff"

So I just joined this board, and reading through it has me all excited about my classic collection that I have slowly acquired over the years. So, What is it about the "old stuff" that keeps us coming back? I think for me, never having certain kits when they were available is one reason fo...

Wanna sell a shell??? The one I have, someone hacked the chassis (cut the "fenders") and rotated the Shock tower and added longer shocks. The shocks are pretty beat, but since its hammered already, I kinda want to build it up. But $$ and time seem to be the problem. Its got a solid axle, a...

Kyosho 1/9 Scale Path finder and 4Runner

So I acquired these kits some time ago, both is decent shape, one was mint, the other a bit hacks, but usable. Wondering if anyone has one around. I know the bodies are ridiculous to find and I want to turn one of them into a potential crawler. Just an idea. I'll post up pics. I actually have quite ...

OMG That is SWEET!

I wanted that thing when I first saw it. I used to dream about getting it when it first came out, too bad it was a few years later and my kit was a T2 (which I still have.)

Nice find! If you find another in good shape, let me know!
