My Rc10 project
My new project. I just picked-up this small lot over the weekend , it was listed for $50 on Craiglist. The buggy is in pretty good shape and just needs a good cleaning. Looks like the off-road tires were not used , also came with a wing and I believe the sway bars. I am starting to build-up quite a ...

Re: First Jrx2 build
I stopped by the lhs and picked up the Rpm gear cover. The one marked for hydra and slipper , fits perfect the part number is 7307. Also asked the employee if he had any 2.0 rims left and he pulled out a small bin for me. Found a mix of the Hpi's front and Jrx2 , rc10 rears. He even gave me a discou...

Re: First Jrx2 build
I was looking at some Rpm gear covers at the lhs today . One was marked for Losi slipper and the other was marked for Losi slipper and hydra drive. Will either one of these fit the jrx2 ?

Re: First Jrx2 build
Almost finished , just need some small parts here and there. Installed the b2 front and rear rims , tried xx rims but they rubbed on the suspension links. I see what you guys mean about the slop. Thought my rear wheels wear loose but I took it for a test spin around the house and it does seem to dri...

Re: First Jrx2 build
I rummaged through the parts box and that is the only battery box I could find. There was a 9 turn motor in there though , can the transmission and axles handle that ? I do remember seeing a Mcallister buggy body at the lhs that looked very similiar to the stock jrx2 , was there one available that w...

First Jrx2 build
This will be my first Jrx2 build , just picked this up locally over the weekend along with a small box of parts. Looks like all the parts are still there to reassemble the 5 link. Performance and durability wise which is the better set up to use and also the large screws on the bottom of the chassis...

There's a metal roll bar that sits in front of the rear shock tower , the roof has to dimples that clips into that.

Mine was also missing the wing , I used an Associated wing for it. Checked my manual and it did not show an under belly piece. There was also a metal piece in between the front shock tower and front roll bars that was zip tied on. It shoud be easy to fabricate with some lexan or small metal plate.

Re: Adventure at the LHS
Yes , the prices where on the packages. I believe it was nine for the nose plates and four on the arms , its nothing I will lose sleep over. I agree Melvinsarmy , it feels good to drive down to the hobby shop . Look at all the kits available , pick up the box and read the specs , then drive home , p...
