Handfitted the battery hold down
I made some mods to fit some gaoneng lihv batteries i recently purchased. These are 22mm thick vs the typical 25mm thick shorty lipos or the lcg shorties which are 19mm thick but have are a little too low on the capacity for a good bash or race... The mods I made to ensure clearance of the belts wer...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
We will have Factory Works chassis braces and aluminum pulleys in a couple weeks, I think you will find them worth the wait. Don't need to be used together, but the larger pulley has more belt wrap so it slips less, and the stiffener lets you run the belt slightly looser since you don't have to acc...

Re: The RC10 4wd
Do the larger pulleys fit right onto the car without other mods? Looking forward to picking up all my Factory Works gear. My 4wd will be decked out in it. The way i see it Factory Works is at least a little, if not a lot of what I wish AE still was. Small but specialized company run by someone or a...

Re: The RC10 4wd
I'll definitely be keen to get the pulleys and braces... although I wonder how the braces might fit... after all, the front tensioner is kinda in thr way. I'll definitely pay for longer axles, both front and back... front +1.5, rear +2. Then i can run full droop. We run on a rutted (often times) out...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
Finally finished the stock build. Had to put 7 spacers in each of the rear shocks and use the short shock ball ends. 3 tamiya1050 plastic bushings under front body mount with a long screw i found in my rc10 box of bits (it's an aluminium Phillip head, so I don't know which car it came from) Trimmed ...

Re: Super Astute rere
Hiya friends, This is prolly the wrong place to discuss vintage racing, but i do see the connection since it is about the re-re super astute. Truthfully, there is NO fair or unfair-ness in a vintage race... If you were to arbitrarily decide that certain cars Must be excluded due to them being too we...

Meine Oberste Kraft !
Hello friends, I recently purchased a TopFroce 2017 to re-live my previous life as a happy-go-lucky, skim-on-meals-to-save-for-that-trinity-motor, they-don't-know-what-it-means-to-dump-before-4mins, Boy-Racer! Needless to say, I scoured the interweb for go-fast (or at least, less breakable) goodies ...

Re: Schumacher PDF Manual and Catalogue Scans
Dear Alex,
I have just procured a schumacher cougar and would like to see if I can "works" it up.
Could you please dropbox me your schumacher manuals? I'm thinking of just making them available as a torrent?
Thanks!

Hello Alycon!
Delrin is not a suitable material for arms. Why not consider purchasing nylon instead? it's softer but much tougher. Delrin is great for low impact stuff like pulleys, gearboxes... things that need a higher lubricity.
