To trim or not to trim...
I'm going to put this here as I'm a Losi freak, but the question pertains to all Lexan painting. What is everyones preference-trim the body before or after painting? I've always trimmed it before-too scared to possibly scratch the paint while trimming to fit. Thoughts?

Re: XX CR KINWALD WAR PAINT
I was going to try this mask I found at the LHS. I'm going to try the same paint job. Don't know of the brand or colors-would be curious myself.

Re: Is this worth saving?
I probably wouldn't resurrect this one-mainly because of time. I rarely get more then 30 min. at a time to play so by my estimation I would finish it by 2013. How would you rebuild the front part of the lower fenders if attempted?

Airbrush Kit Recommendations
Can anyone recommend a decent air brush kit? I'm not looking to spend a fortune, but I don't want something cheap. Trying to replicate the Kinwald style "tear-drop" effect used on the XXX BK. Also-do you recommmend a small compressor or just use the propellant can? I will probably be paint...

Re: XX Fluorescent Pink
XX is a shelf queen-already in a display case. I'm not planning on running it-the rest of the collection is box art built/painted. That is why I'm trying to match the paint color.

XX Fluorescent Pink
Just finished a new-built Losi XX. I am going to paint box art. If you look at the box the decals and wheel discs appear to be a reddish color. The actual decals are a fluorescent pink color. So I use Pactra RC277 fluor. red on a test piece it looked "pink" like the decals so I proceded to...

Re: XXX Spec.
Thanks for the replies. The value to me is as a collector of Losi 2WD buggies-I don't think I'll part with it-it to me is another piece Losi history in the development of the buggy. I know it's a XXX in another form but different-gotta love the blue tires-don't see many popping up for sale! We had a...

XXX Spec.
Long time fan, first time poster. A great web-site for reference. Losi came out with a XXX Spec around 2000. I was able to pick one up-can't seem to find a whole lot about the car. Any value to it? Was Losi's theory about spec racing worthwhile or was the idea/spec buggy/spec truck consisdered a fai...
