Re: Back In My Day ..................

On the subject of old video games, Contra. Up up down down left right left right B A start, think was the 30 lives cheat code. Even though the game could easily be beat with 1-3 lives. Contra, if you shot enough guys you got an extra life... used to park Bill just short of the first screen roll, ta...

Did you know Tamiya models were sold complete with mechanical speed controllers, motors and bodies? If you didn't, Tamiya wanted to make sure you did, devoting an entire full-page ad to inform buyers of the pluses to their kits and pitfalls that may await others. Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

If you're into reading RC history... I was able to connect all the dots on the life and times of Novak Electronics, from a young Bob Novak fresh out of college to the growth of a company that would become the predominant name in R/C electronics. Plus an answer to the question... why were Novak produ...

Re: Rc10 6207 Cadillac vs Fan Rc gating and ejection pin marks

While the sway bar on my Edinger is blocking the topmost pin mark the rest of the pins and gate are in the same places as your Cadillac.

Re: B6/7 body on a B3?

Going with a big fat nope. The B6's are 4.375in wide and the B3's are 5.625 wide. Further, the Leadfinger bodies match the stepped contour of the B6's chassis, which wouldn't come close to covering the straight taper of the B3's. With creative nose trimming B4 and classic RC10 bodies will fit ... ht...

Re: RC10T Cliff Lett Edition Kit

If you don't have trackside parts support you either carry a hobby shop on your back or accept that every crash or hard landing could ruin your day. Profoundly insightful to think about. What's the best vehicle to race? One you can get parts for. Someone who races at a lot of different places would...

Re: Tamiya Joy Rides Lineup 1995

The 90's was a really interesting period for Tamiya, transitioning from their largely off-road model range of the 80's to predominantly on-road vehicle production by the end of the decade. Then the 00's came and they started producing their 80's cars again. Talk about a rollercoaster. The company cr...

Tamiya TGX MK.1

In 1994 Tamiya hit the track in a big way with their new 1/8 Nitro 4wd on-road platform, the TGX. Tamiya's second nitro model, after the TR-15T, the TGX attempted to scale up the fun of nitro racing. Built on a 2.5mm thick aluminum plate chassis the TGX sported a four-wheel independent camber adjust...

Anyone hear about RC Reviews on Youtube losing his channel?

Bummer that creators can't get any help from YouTube.
