Re: Porsche 959 - selling, what to do?
I still have a question. Have you ever driven the 959 ? If not, you should do that before you sell it. May be that you're tamiya fan then :D The 959 is really very cool to bash. I had a friend back in the 90s ,who milled the battery box, and drove it to 8.4 V. Incredibly fast !! Fun, fun, fun ! But ...

Re: Porsche 959 - selling, what to do?
Hi Ian, If you have fun on a restoration, then do it. I guess, with a fully restored you will get the best price. Many people do not tinker, they only want to collect . If I were you, I would try to exchange this Porsche with someone for something what you prefer to have. sorry, I can not help it . ...

Thanks for your help tsan. Just as I meant it. @ Jerzi > I would almost enter into a bet, that it takes less than 24 hours until someone offers you the parts. A lot of helpful specialists abound in this forum :D And hey! See what goes on in ebay germany right now! http://cgi.ebay.de/49...

Re: found myself an Ultima :D
I think with some work will surely be a nice Ultima. I'm looking forward to more photos. This buggy will always remain my personal favorite . I've recently even one built from mostly new parts. Almost every day I turn it around in my hands and thinking of the good old 80s. I drove my Ultima usually ...

Re: Dumping your vintage r/c collection.
Interesting contribution. I would like to be not too much underlying philosophical. But it is not the little things in life that really matter? No doubt. If my child has to give up something important about my hobby, I have to change something. Then I'd sell my collection immediately. But the hobby ...
