which is the correct opponent ??
Hello Traxxas-experts, I’m thinking about a small collection of 2wd buggy’s which have been the true opponents on the racetracks in the late 80’s. 2wd was not very popular in my environment . I remenber entirely Ultimas , RC10 and at most a few Schumachers. Traxxas was offered by Graupner in Germany...

Re: Dark windows on Optima MID special
Thanks guys for your tips. I would prefer the tint film , because i think it's difficult to cover the fine window frames before spraying something. I will paint the body boxart and so it would be needfull to cover the complete white rest . About the tint film. To my knowledge 1:1 tint film clings to...

Dark windows on Optima MID special
Hello everybody,
Can somebody give me a tip , how to make the dark windows according to the original pics on the box of my Optima MID special ?
It looks black from distance , but it is lucent. Is it a film, or is it smoke-spray ?
thank you in advance
Michi

Re: Hot Trick Red Ultima - The car in my dreams
What's your idea about the body for your Hot Trick Ultima ? And what i was wondering since i have seen this red parts the first time , is the weigth of the car. Is a complete Hot Trick car much heavier than an Ultima Pro or a chassis with a Kelron plate ?

Re: Did some shopping today.
:D Yes , you are right. What a luck to have your " Dealer " 20 minutes to drive. I was wondering what kind of shop this must be. A hobby shop where you can buy such great, old stuff ? You are enviable. The guy in the only hobby shop in my area does not know anything about things which were...

Re: ayk project
Best of all in my opinion is the fact that you do not use carpet on your track. If I see pics of modern " offroad " tracks they are mostly rediculous. Blue or green lanes with a few foldings  Man ! Offroad RC would be never died out here if someone had build such a thing in our vicini...

Re: ayk project
Wow ! Tony, Only now i realised that this is the same track as in the triumph topic. Nearly i asked you there about a picture from the outside :D Did you really built this hall just for the RC's ? Incredible job !! It must be absolutely funny to walk across the court , switch on the light and drive ...
