Oh man, that's so cool! The Lazer gotta be my favorite of the hornet knockoffs.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2025 **
Despite being a lot of RC10 versions, there's nice variety this month! I think the rere parts availability has really helped with inspiring new builds. Nothing too special. Fairly nice RC10 runner with a Kinwald inspired body. If there is a mod for the 6-gear that makes it smoother, this has it. Te...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Butchered this 6 gear motorplate to fit a stealth and then chopped some more to fit it into the tamiya astute chassis. Quite pleased with the final result. Will dye the stealth case black to match the tamiya plastics

Thanks guys! I never would have come up with the tie rod trick, but I will be using that.

Jrx-pro se rpm gear cover question
OK so maybe I'm being really dumb right now, but I cannot for the life of me get a nut on this screw to hold the gear cover on. It just runs into the cover and won't screw on. Is there some sort of special nut that these covers use? I've looked online but can't find a good picture.

Nothing too special. Fairly nice RC10 runner with a Kinwald inspired body. If there is a mod for the 6-gear that makes it smoother, this has it. Team Car universals. Long arms, JC Racing wheels, Jconcepts rear tires, Schumacher fronts. Reliable runner that rarely let's me down.

Not exactly the post but from offerup. 3 different colors of the AE 6854 3 piece wheels. No clue what I'm going to do with them since they're NOS, but whatever.

Re: How to install brushed motor armature
No clue if that was the right armature but it did fit. So I'm calling it good enough, or at least better than being disassembled in a wet box.

Re: How to install brushed motor armature
Thank you for all the help. I found 5 random armatures in the box of many things. I think the one on the far right is our culprit. It's double wound and has "12" written on it. If anyone cares to ID the other armatures, feel free.

Re: How to install brushed motor armature
If I have an armature that doesn't go into a bearing, I hold one shaft end in a drill, spin it up, and polish the other shaft end with 500 or 1000 grit sandpaper. Usually it's the pinion end that needs the cleanup. That armature looks like a stock motor armature. Lots of wraps of wire on it. This i...

Re: How to install brushed motor armature
Normally the armature just slips in the bearings.... I don't think that is the correct armature as it looks like a single wind instead of a double wind. Hmmmmm.... interesting. I'll look through the stock of armatures that came with the lot to see what I have that might fit the bill. How should I t...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
We used to sell an adapter plate to put a stealth on the astute. If you get stuck let me know and I should be able to reverse it to a 6 gear using the one set of holes that lined up, then add the stealth holes from the adapter plate to get the correct layout. It's like a 5 minute task to lay it out...
