6-Gear Slipper Eliminator?
Can anyone tell me if the available slipper eliminators will fit a stock 6-gear tranny and top shaft? Most say they fit a Stealth, but I want to know if any fit the 6-gear. I'm looking at this one from Dynotech: http://dynotech-racing.com/photos/4005D.jpg Aluminum gear adapter for RC10 Replaces slip...

Re: Scan request: RC10 set up for carpet oval circa 1991
There was also an article that ran in two separate issues of RCCA, I'm thinking late '92 or '94, that showed how to build an LTO RC10 parking lot racer. I have the second issue and will scan it, but I can't seem find the first issue. The car was crazy. The gold tub was cut and an aluminum plate was ...

Re: RC10DS Arm Lengths?
Thank you! So according to those numbers, the original short front arms I have will work fine and I won't have to use the DS arms.
I just placed an order for the LAST pair of DS rear arms the shop had in stock.

RC10DS Arm Lengths?
Can anyone tell me the length of the RC10DS front and rear arms from center to center of the hinge pin holes?
Are the DS front arms shorter than the original short RC10 front arms?

Re: Oval build #2 LXT
Very nice! What front bulkhead is that? IMO, the original Roadkill is the best oval truck body ever available.
I also have an A&L/Factory Works/Composite Craft-equipped carpet oval LX-T that I used to race as a kid. These trucks are dialed right out of the box.

Re: Problem With Robinson Toe Adjuster
the issue is that on alot direct drive trans, the diff/outdrives are usually set further back (towards the motor) because of the larger diff gear that is required. if you had it setup as a rear motor, this wouldn't be an issue. but now, with it being a mid motor setup, the diff/outdrives are furthe...

Re: Problem With Robinson Toe Adjuster
Thanks scr8p! Now my next question is what exactly will the RRP mounts fit? If they were designed to fit a stock AE chassis, then why don't they fit an aftermarket chassis that is drilled the same? Do the 10T's use the other mounting holes on the AE mounts? Or why exactly do they have two sets of ho...

Problem With Robinson Toe Adjuster
Hello everyone, I'm in the early stages of building a carpet oval RC10 project, but I've ran into a problem that I hope someone can help me with. Mods, please move this and my other threads into the Tech forums if necessary...I'm really not sure where this belongs. I'm using a Trackmaster graphite c...

Is This A Composite Craft Chassis?
I literally just won this auction about an hour ago for another oval project and wanted to know if it's a Composite Craft TLTO chassis? I have a C.C. TLTO chassis on my Losi LX-T and this one looks very similar. Any help would be appreciated. http://i.ebayimg.com/21/!B,rgUEQ!Wk~$(KGrHqQH-CwEq...

Re: Updating vintage dirt oval RC10
Very nice! I just finished installing a McAllister lowering kit on my project. It just gives these cars a perfect stance for carpet. I'm currently in the same situation as you with wheels and tires. One option is to purchase a pair of 3/16" rear adapters to mount pan car wheels. Team Cobra, Dyn...

How Rare Are Trackmaster Parts?
I recently bought a used Trackmaster graphite chassis, graphite X Caliber direct drive tranny with original instructions, and graphite Turbo Glide belt drive tranny for my oval RC10 project, and wanted to know if these parts are fairly common or hard to find? :?: I paid less than $25 for each piece,...

Team Pit Stop NOVA...Anyone Remember?
I found an ad for a Team Pit Stop NOVA oval truck in a November 1992 issue of Radio Control Racer today, and would like to know if anyone has any info, pics, etc. of one of these trucks? This is the only ad from TPS I've ever seen and have never read about or seen any photos of the NOVA in any other...

I tried using the Parma stuff several years ago and it was terrible. Tape is easier and cleaner.
