Re: Rear mount in alu or delrin?

I personally felt that the stock rear mount (with 3 degrees toe-in) for T2 is better and beefier than the gold pan stock's ones (1.5 degrees toe-in). Any preferences from racers between the two? Also, are the anti-squat for both the same?

Re: Rear mount in alu or delrin?

All your precious feedbacks are noted with appreciations. Its seems to explain that the best/ appropriate rear mount will be with 1.5 degrees toe-in and anti-squat. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Rear mount in alu or delrin?

Guys, would like to hear all your opinions... Given a choice, would you prefer to have delrin or aluminum rear mounts? May it be for bashing or competitions... At the same time, what degree of toe-in and anti-squat do you prefer for the best handling? What do you think if they are 0 degree toe-in an...

Re: 6 gear power options

A point to note: If all the gears are metal, there will definitely be more wear at some other areas on the tranny (idler gears pivot etc) as they are less forgiving. That's why most of the idler gears are plastic based material to cushion the wear.

Re: re-released Avante? or something new?

I'll just get one of these re-re and built them for the shiok of it. Thereafter, i'll just leave it on my showcase and poisted as the original. Who knows except for yourself right?? Don't worry about those original as these re-re will have the newer plastic and moulding style with 2010!!! ...

Re: What car is it????

That is the early tamtech production line. That porsche chassis is the shortest of the three I believe. It's something like the porsche being the shortest, the testarosa being the mid length and the Le Mans being the longest. That one should be great as a runner especially if you put in the modern ...

Re: Bearing sizes for a 6 gear RC10?

If you intend to run the 6 gear tranny, I'll suggest that you go on with the mod. It'll be alot smoother and you will have longer running time on the idler gears. I've done that on my 6 gear tranny and no regrets. PS: As long as you are not gearing up with brushless setup.

Re: Dumb Question

Bearrickster, you just need to change put the short arms in and nothing else. The shocks are the same. However, you need the pins secured by set screws for the short arms to mount the shock eyelets on. Hope these help.
