Finally…a build thread of my own! Updated
Well I finally collected enough parts to complete a couple of builds I’ve been planning. The first of which will be based on a brand new Parma D&D graphite chassis. I’d say about 75% of the car will be built with nip parts with the rest I just cleaned up as best as I could. You can see most of t...

Re: Son's first RC10
That is great! Tell your sons thanks, it's a great re-creation of a battle scene.
Although it seems poor Boba has fallen in battle.

Re: Son's first RC10
I wondered if any one would see tha little trooper. He and his brother pack them everywhere. Its more like a break from his storm troopers--{and halo and soldiers and war hammer figures} to do an rc car. He draws them and plays with them looks at the u tube videos of the cartoons paints them build ...

Re: Son's first RC10
I think it's great he has an appreciation for Star Wars as well. I see he's got a clone trooper in the background for when he needs a break from R/C .

Re: New here, lucky rc10!
Very nice score indeed! Bonus on the extra shells too. The one closest to the buggy looks like a Jammin' Jumper and the further one possibly a Hot Bodies Stealth Fighter? Either way both of them are very cool, not to mention the the lid already on it. Actually after further inspection I don't believ...

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
Hey Melvins, all I can say is WOW she's a beaut! What an awesome looking cruiser. I love the attention to detail, what kind of frame savers are you running there? Whale tail or something like that. Also is that a black & silver izumi chain? I need to get my mitts on one of those for the PL-24 (a...

Re: 24" BMX bikes
Man, seeing all those sweet rides makes me want to put the R/C aside for awhile and finish my PL-24.

Re: 24" BMX bikes
Now that's a nice looking bike! Gotta love a nice looptail. Didn't I read in the other thread that you lace your own wheels? I love the look on the front one. Thanks for the compliment on the GT, I also have a Redline PL24 that's almost finished (early 90's shorter headtube). Once it's finished I'll...

Re: 24" BMX bikes
I forgot about Kappa, I didn't realize they weren't around anymore. I remember seeing a couple of their limited runs and one off's that I wanted badly. I have to agree with you Melvins about the Chinese made bikes. Although I have to admit my 2001 GT pro series 24 is only "designed" in the...

Re: 24" BMX bikes
If you're looking for something to beat up as opposed to something vintage, you should check out SE Racing. They're not American made anymore but they've been pumping out a lot of their retro designs. Check out the Flyer tab and the retro tab, you'll find they even have a 29" Big Ripper. http:/...

Re: Question Regarding a "Real" Edinger RC10
Hey Brian, all I can say is judging from the side pics on my Edinger box it does show a silver phillips head screw holding down one side of the battery straps. So I'd say leave it if you're building a "true" box art buggy.
