Re: SCOTT MONTGOMERY TRX-1 info !
Hi Scott,
Great to have you on the forum.
One of my fellow racers here is Aus would like to know if it's true that the TRX-1 had other names prior to it's release?

Re: TRX-1 pics
Jason, I would not run it. Don't run it, agreed a sin to dive a rare, awesome ride. As you can see in the Squadron pics, I have a new built RC-10 Graphite, fortunately I have enough RC10's to to run. Last new build TRX-1 I saw was back in '92. The car had so much hype after the '91 worlds and "...

Re: TRX-1 pics
Better late than never Jason. There you go A&L bellcranks, I wasn't sure. Get down to the Vic's in April and team up with me to beat Ant in the 540 class. It's TRX-1 Vs Cougar 2. I have enough parts to mount a sustained attack! One of the older racers got a bit teary eyed when I showed him the T...

Re: TRX1-Everybody is doing it!
Jeff, thanks for the tip!
I think with the SWB chassis and CVDs the car will be a weapon.

Re: TRX-1 pics
Hi Ken, not too sure what make bellcranks they are. The yellow ones are circa 1993 vintage. Someone will know the make here on the forum.
I have three other TRX1's (in various stages of completion....), none have the original steering
Will be good to see your box art buggy.

So those CVD's are off an RB5?
That's awesome if it's that easy.

TRX-1 pics
Finally, here are some pics of some of "The Squadron". One Car is a runner, the other while not mint, is the shelf, or at the moment cupboard queen.... As per usual, original bodies are like chickens teeth. The runner gets the privilege of a bandit body. Funny how the TRX-1 would have to b...

Re: TRX-1 crush tubes?
Hi Ken,
Yes I am using Traxxas wheels. All the shims are per manual.
Perhaps I am just tightening the nut too much. It is interesting that most cars do use crush tubes these days.

TRX-1 crush tubes?
Hi Guys,
I'm wondering if anyone has tried crush tubes in the TRX-1 rear hubs.
I find the rear wheels tend to bind if done up too tight.

It would be interesting to know about the "several projects" that are also happening.
I'm sure there will be a few RC10's getting converted here in Aus.

Re: My 2nd TRX-1 (updated 11/08/09 with new body)
Looks the goods. Will it fit the SWB chassis?
I was also wondering whether the J Concepts Bandit body would be a good fit.
