Re: Having trouble finding 3/16 x 3/8 flanged bearings

Could I ask what you're going to use 3/16 x 3/8 bearings for? The RC10 used 3/16 x 5/16 flanged and 1/4 x 3/8 flanged.... maybe you've combined bearing sizes? i think he's using b2/b3 cvd's. or atleast 3/16 stub axles. Yeah, I'm moving to 2.2 tires so I just got the 3/16 axles so I need 3/16 x 3/8.

Re: Having trouble finding 3/16 x 3/8 flanged bearings

There are quite a few hits in google, but if you really look through them I haven't found a single one where you can just buy 4 of these bearings. Most of the hits are for ordering in bulk. The duratrax site was one I also looked at, they have the right size bearing, but its not flanged. Any other s...

Having trouble finding 3/16 x 3/8 flanged bearings

I can't seem to find these anywhere. Avidrc.com apparently has only 2 in stock, but I need 4. Is there any other place to find these suckers??? Here's the avidrc.com link. If you try to add more than 2 to your cart, you get a message saying they don't have that many in stock. http://www.avidrc.com/p...

Re: Evidently I bought the wrong parts to run 2.2 wheels

UM-414 wheels from Kyosho are almost an exact copy of the 3/16" B3 rear wheels. They are not made out of the brittle Duratrax plastic either. The Kyosho America website says they're on backorder.... do you know where else to get them? Might be worth checking out. Thanks! http://www.shopkyosho....

a question about polishing (steel?) parts that have grayed

I did a search on this question and found threads that were mostly talking about removing anodizing, which isn't exactly what I'm looking to do. I'd like to just take some of the (steel?) parts like the dogbones and transmission outdrives and just get them nice and clean and looking new-ish. Right n...

Re: Evidently I bought the wrong parts to run 2.2 wheels

Well the fit is closer than I thought. I was actually able to apply a bit of force and get the axle into the wheel, but it took a little elbow grease and its VERY tight. So, I'm thinking I can just ream out the wheel very lightly and that will be enough to make a good fit. I'd be curious to know if ...

Evidently I bought the wrong parts to run 2.2 wheels

Based on a reading of the stickied "how to run 2.2 wheels" thread, I purchased the following for my gold-tub CE: 3/16 stub axles (the cvd's were discontinued and I'm fine w/ a dogbone setup): http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=001191139&I=ASCC7378&P=K And Duratrax...

Re: Will newer model shock rebuild kits work on gold shocks?

However, on the original bottom load shocks, you will need to retain the bottom plastic washer and c clip for reuse. There is a Traxxas shock rebuild kit that you can use to replace the bottom plastic washer and the larger c-clip. Fits like a champ. Between that and some new o-rings, you're set. ht...

Re: Blue Arms for RC10 Sneak Preview!

I have no idea how much time you put into making that auto CAD design, but there are ways of retrieving data off a damaged hard drive (even easier if the hard drive itself isn't actually damaged). If you think it might be worth trying, pm me and I can give you some ideas to try and get the file(s) b...

Any good screw sets other than the AE Factory Team set?

I'm starting my 2nd restoration - a TQ10 - and I pretty much need all new screws for it. I have seen this set (below), but I'm wondering if there may be a cheaper set elsewhere without the flashy blue anodize. The blue is cool, but I'd be willing to go with plain black for less $$$. http://www3.towe...
