I have no experience with the 3 but I do have some max's, and 1 & 2's. No issues yet. I think you should be fine for heat as this is not a super heavy vehicle and more than likely you will have it de-tuned to get it driving nice.

The 5700 is a great motor. If you have concerns, start out with all the setting on the mild side and increase until you feel it is right. It is a great feeling having a crazy fast car and knowing you have 20+% dialed out of it.

It does suck. I was hoping for a special "worlds" tire. On the plus side, 20 years from now it will just be easier to find period correct tires for a restoration instead of exact kit tires.

Time depends on many factors such as how much current your charger will put out. Most batteries now a days can take a 2c charge without issues if the charger can do it. The higher the battery rating, the charge requirements also go up. To charge a 6000mah at 2c takes more than most entry level charg...

That freaking sucks. There sure have been a lot of sinkholes lately. I think it is from all those man eating worms.

This is what I use. DCF610S2 . I think it was $99 for the driver, 2 lithium batteries and charger. Twin led lights, holds 1/4" drivers, clutch works well.

Have you adjusted the esc using the CastleLink. You can set initial power and max power and many other things with it. I have a 4600kv system in my daughters T4 and I have it so it will do about 5mph wot.
