Re: "A" Bottom stamp Chassis
You can really find these that readily. I thought the stamp on the bottom side was a lot fewer and farther between than the ones with the stamp on top like all the latter models?

Re: NIP Edinger Parts
I used to have about 20 of them from a hobby store close out at $1.00. My wife was ticked that I spent $20 on the same parts. I am now down to 6 from different builds. Time machines would be awesome!

NIP Edinger Parts
Another question. Again, not looking for $ amounts or to sell. I have a few examples pictured and quite a few more on the wall and in boxes some where. Would these parts be better left alone or go ahead and use them on a build. I have probably used quite a few of these already before learning that A...

"A" Bottom stamp Chassis
Hello! I am really loving this forum. I thought I knew a lot about the RC10, but many of you make me feel like a freshman. Which is great as I do not have anyone in my area who is into this. Anyway, I have read the rules and excuse me ahead of time if I am off. I do not want a dollar amount, just di...

Re: "B" Chassis question
Thanks for the info. The car I have is a CE with the longer front arms and 6 gear. I just found it odd to be drilled for the stealth but not have it with it. Did some CE cars have the stealth?

Re: "B" Chassis question
I was wondering the same type of thing. I got a box that looked unused and it had a B chassis. The transmission was a six gear but it also had holes for the stealth. I wonder if the stealth was phased in later than the chassis?

Re: Sons First Build
That is great to be able to do quality projects together. He is a lucky kid, not many kids these days will ever wrench on a gold pan. I bought my 6 year old son a truck this summer to race with me and my T4. The problem is that I thought I would get him a cheapie Evader ST. What a POS. I have put mo...

Preserving White Parts?
Hello All! I have seen many messages about trying to whiten parts but I want input on how to preserve them. I don't know if it is best to leave them in the plastic or boxes or if the plastic leads to yellowing? I figure that sunlight is bad and of course somke. Just any other ideas?

Re: rc10 rear arm mounts
I may have been mistaken. It has bee a while since I looked for these. I was always lookng for white ones and found black everywhere. Now I looked and don't see any. I had better stop giving these away like candy.

Re: rc10 rear arm mounts
If you are looking for black RC10 mounts I believe I have seen a few from online retailers. I have a mess of them but I am not authorized in the buying/selling section yet.

Re: new member's RC10 gold pan collection
Lots of fun and work. You are right. It can be very confusing. Which one was I working on? What parts do I need? It is endless, I say I will take all my best parts and make one good one. But then I am not too far off from making two, then I still have a chassis so why not three, and on and on. I thi...

Re: Ugly factory "B" chassis.
Most I have seen are not silky smooth. There are machine marks and many have the swirl marks around the drill holes. If it is under the anodizing it is from the factory unless it has been redone. Any deep scratches like that after anodizing goes through the color and is silver in color. The pits are...

Re: Different types of screws
Thank you all for your input. I just have a couple of unused short arm gold pans that I am trying to finish and am into the details. I will use all smooth ones on them and use the ribbed ones on the black pans and CE.

Different types of screws
:) Hello! New to the site and thought I would start things out with a question for my restorations. I have many jars full of the black socket head screws. I was wondering what period correct were for the smooth headed ones and the ribbed ones. I haven't had any nib kits to compare to since my first ...
