Re: Lipo Conversion question (probably stupid but I need to ask)
Yes, this is likely true but the Nimh pack was 6 cells and I have several packs (2 of which are less than a year old that I use for my son’s cars). Using one of those did not change the equation. I have a 12r5.2 that I am getting ready. This one will use all new electronics (though still not brushle...

Lipo Conversion question (probably stupid but I need to ask)
I have a couple of older Associated 1/12 scale cars (raced long ago) that I use to do speed runs up and down my street. My Nimh packs have just gotten to the point of exhaustion from age and non-use. I got a couple of 1S Lipo batteries that I use in a my 4wd car (pretty new batteries). They are well...

Re: Servo Spec Question
Airtronics servos are still as sharp as ever. Getting hard to find parts for them though. Airtronics 94145 is still the best 1/12 scale servo I have ever used.

Servo Spec Question
I have been looking at small high-speed servos lately to replace some of my older ones and I have a question. Why, in this era of Lipo batteries—which isn’t new, are servo manufacturers still using the 4.8v and 6.0v speed and torque standard? Wouldn’t it be more informative to use 3.7v and 7.4v (and...

Re: OOP Associated and Parma bodies
Yeah, these things usually come down to money. They have the molds but not the will or ability to invest. Or who knows what happened? Maybe one more victim of COVID-19 (economically speaking). I see that Bob Stormer is selling a couple of NASCAR molds. I am just happy that many of my favorites are a...

OOP Associated and Parma bodies
I have been buying up some of the new rereleased bodies from Sabula Tech (which are good, BTW) and I have tracked down quite a few other bodies I have wanted through various sources like RJ Speed, Mr Lexan and Wind Tunnel Racing. It made me curious as to the whereabouts of other molds from the likes...

One more Bolink body...
I am looking for the Datsun 280 ZX BL-2088.
It’s a later, IMSA style 1/12 body.
Thanks.

Has anyone ordered from Windtunnel Racing? There site looks a bit untended to. Just wanted to see if anyone had any experience with them. Thanks.
