Re: RC10 classic green pan
Still a work in progress, I need to add some finishing touches including getting hold of some missing screws from the RC Screwz kit, adding battery cups, painted body etc. It also needs some additional alloy I think, including steering assembly, shock collars/spring retainers and maybe transmission ...

Re: RC10 classic green pan
Just an update on this one. I completed approximately 60% of the assembly yesterday, when I was home from work ill. I wanted to take pics of the build however the mrs had the camera and I couldn't be bothered cleaning the work area, preferring to get stuck into building the thing! Its all looking pr...

Re: Help needed re: fitting Ultima wheels to RC10
Thanks mate. You're a legend! Found them, bought them and they're on their way! Cheers, Steve Steve, look for Team CRP's front stub axle adaptors part number 1552. They replace the stock imperial stub axles with 5mm metric ones on the front. There's a set on Ebay now. As for the rears, are you using...

Re: Help needed re: fitting Ultima wheels to RC10
Thanks guys for the advice.
I guess I'll see if the rears are tapered or not once they arrive, whereas the front end is obviously pretty simple.
Cheers,
Steve

Re: RC10 CLASSIC Wheels and Knockoffs!
Glad the Radicator is together and bringing you joy. A great car indeed, and while sad to part with it, was certainly happy with the trade mate.
Cheers,
Steve

Help needed re: fitting Ultima wheels to RC10
Hi guys. I'll soon be starting on my 'ultimate' RC10 build, comprising Fibrelyte tub, TPS chain transmission, white andy's arms front and rear etc. I've just purchased a snazzy set of Pargu alloys for an Ultima (URL below). I probably should have done my research first, but I'm presuming fitting the...

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
From what I've read there won't be more runs of the 'classic' kit, however the door may be open for later versions of the car (eg CE, team car etc) which would be great to see. Associated did state it was a limited edition run, although understandably many people (including me) were sceptical about ...

Re: RC10 classic green pan
Yeah in hindsight the gearbox plate might have been overkill
Paintwise, for some reason a Masami tribute scheme keeps popping into my head, but my painting skills (ie lack of) would make it look laughable...,

Great looking RC10 mate. Fantastic colour co-ordination...certainly a combination I couldn't conceive. Well done!

Re: RC10 classic green pan
Cheers guys. The Rogue jellybeans are locked in, and was on the fence about anodising them, but will try as natural alloy first and go from there. Technacrafts certainly would have been a great option also. I guess in terms of colour combinations, I'm trying to keep it fairly simple...thus the swapp...

Here is a shot of my green anodised aluminium parts for my build (to commence shortly).
I think I like your purple better though!

Steve

RC10 classic green pan - BUILD PICS NOW UP
http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/yy308/stephenianjames/DSC_0294_zps80bb7159.jpg Hi guys. I picked up my freshly anodised RC10 classic aluminium parts the other day. I'm yet to start the build, but the plans are to keep it pretty stock with the exception of some REC bling, being the upcoming orig....
