Re: Looking for a good, but decent proced DSLR Camera
I use a D7000, and I like it a lot. It's more than I'll ever need right now but I do plan to try and improve in it. They're rated at 150K clicks, Adam. One plus with it is its built-in AF motor, so you can use cheaper non-AFS lenses. I highly recommend it.

I've used this stuff to wrap a charger, looks pretty good. Works for my bike too as a chainstay protector.

Re: RC10 Courtesy of Marvin
Well it looks better now, though still needs some time. I have the parts, I just need time to put it together.

Re: RC10 Courtesy of Marvin
It was in 1 piece at one point, I disassembled it and cleaned some of the parts but didn't get around to putting it back together. Hardware was all over the place. it's basically mocked up (incomplete hardware), so it's easier to spot any missing parts. One of a few that were dropped from the ...

Cool, thanks guys! I found a pic of it assembled:

So that's what the yellow shrink wrap is for?! I thought that was for a battery pack, to the garbage it went.

This looks like a wing assembly, but by who and for what body? Would be nice to see how it's mounted.

Re: Who have you met in person?
Cool thread! For me: Adam (adam.lancia): I picked up a box of motors from him back in maybe 2007. Tim (tim.sanderson): met him at Fastcats when I started racing Canadian TCS. Also raced on a parking lot track with the vintage guys. Ron (Rattlesnaker): raced with him at the 2010 Toronto Hobby Show (n...

I doubt it and won't hold my breath. There's probably 50 other cars waiting in line.
But I'm happy to be proven wrong, given that a lot in his pile are real treasures.
