Re: Just Joes 93 works parts pile

I started to assemble this project. There will be pics coming soon, but I have a question on the diff covers and center pulley cover. Should they be white or black? I have seen quite a few builds and there plenty of both out there...Which one would be correct? I have both but want it to be somewhat ...

Re: Modern Rubber 870c/yz10

I did the hex drive conversion to one of my 870C's and it would be easier to get a set of 2.2 wheels for the original Yokomo square drives. If you have BST access, I'm sure there are a few folks that have wheels laying around...But they may cost.

Re: Yokenstein Dogsbreakfast

I think he wants to know if he can use the chassis pictured and just run some straps to hold the LiPo's in. I would make some sort of cradle (like the one used on the B44) that will provide some latteral stability and then you could use the straps without worrying if they will slide out the sides. A...

Re: Yokenstein Dogsbreakfast

Are you running two rear bulkheads on this car? It looks like the first and second pic is of the front of the chassis but that bulkhead is a rear bulkhead...that is why you need to grind off the long side to clear the steering. The front bulkhead is even on both sides.

Re: Yokenstein Dogsbreakfast

I wouldnt think so since the chassis is the part with the big rectangular hole in it and the battery trays are the part with the slotts for the cells, and are adjustable for weight distribution on this chassis.

Re: AN YOKOMO

Is the chassis slotted for rear belt adjustment? That would be the reason for the screw in the rear bulkhead. Looks like someone engraved Works 86 on the rear bulkhead as well. I have an old mag bulkhead with the adjuster screw hole in it, i thought it was for the works chassis but then I found out ...

Re: New Yokomo Owner

The control arms, shock towers and chassis were all custom (not yokomo factory). Looks like a Jammin top deck. The turnbuckles on the hinge pins were standard for the works 93, but I thought the Drescher car was between the works 91 and 93.

I really like those Keil wheels. Been looking for a set for a long time, but have only been able to find a pair of fronts. Seem to be quite rare. Sharp works 93!
