I saw a flyer somewhere on Facebook (can't find it now), that said we are going to run on outdoor track this year?!?
- What does that mean for tires?
- Knobbies??

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I have had a few DF-03 chassis for years and never run any of them - until this weekend. Two of the chassis are basically stock rollers - the third one has a few upgrades including: - Tamiya aluminum Hop Up shocks - incredibly smooth, very nice shocks. - Front one-way diff. - Various blue aluminum p...

This is very sweet - just like all your race cars!
- (let me know if you ever want to sell any of your vintage race builds )
We will plan for North Carolina again also - I am kinda thinking I might focus on B2/B3 cars for VONats, and aluminum tub RC10s for NC ?
- We'll see.

Re: RC10 T3 Build
Very Nice! There is a guy on eBay that sells T3 battery straps with a slot down the middle and a small brace that screws into the slot - this way you can move the battery around, even put a shorty all the way to the front, without modifying anything else. I have one at home - can send a picture late...

31mm bodies out back X 27.5mm shaft
1.7 hole pistons front, brown springs, 27.5 oil

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Super sweet T, alota RPM goodies. Steering enhancement kit is the icing 8) Funny you mention the steering - something is funky with the geometry, it has a ton of bump-steer. - The only odd thing I see is the steering links are in the more rearward Ackerman position on the bell cranks. - I will move...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I pulled out an old RC10T to scavenge some parts, decided to go ahead and work on the old 10T a bit. It is a painted white chassis with a few RPM parts installed - I convinced my wife to paint all the RPM logos we could find. - Even the tiny logos inside the caster blocks! Then applied a few d...

Re: First Track?
Interesting thread here - neat to read some of the stories. The first car I ever actually entered a race with was a Tamiya Falcon, when it was brand-new - so Summer 1986. - This was at a red-sand track built in an open area between an apartment complex and a drainage ditch here in San Antonio. Of co...
