Thanks for the tip on pin removers, Joe!
You know I did think about whether there is some sort of carbon-look tape/wrap on that JRX-2 chassis - if that's what it is, it was done very well.
- I will take a closer look and see if I can find any imperfection.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Ahh yes, Robinson steering kit - Thanks!
For the chassis - I have had it for 10-12 years, would that still be consistent with being made by Hellstrom?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Can anyone identify this steering system (installed on a JRX-2) - I once had a similar steering setup on an RC10, seems like maybe it was a "steering enhancement kit" ?
Edit: Hmm, not sure why it is rotating that picture?

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I have been asking questions about Losi items in another thread - maybe I will divide up and post some here as well  I have one JRX-2 chassis that seems to be a different material than the others - it is a very shiny/slick carbon fiber: Is this an aftermarket chassis? JRX Carbon chassis(1)....

- I remember a hobby shop owner had one when I was a kid, but I hadn't seen one in decades.

Re: Associated Guy Restoring Vintage Losi Buggies
I am in a similar situation to what ChisaiKuso described above - I am pulling a ton of old Losi stuff out of storage and I am not an expert on what parts are from what model. - I plan to build a few for the shelf, and sell a few if I can. Questions: 1) Were the bodies for JRX -Pro, -Pro SE, and Juni...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Next I have two sets of aluminum wheels that have been mounted to JRX-2 projects for many years (15+ years), and I do not know what they are. Questions: 1) What brand are these rims? - And what specific design / model name, if known? 2) Is either set more desirable than the other? 3) The rear rims h...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I am going to list a few models to try and sell soon. I have an old JRX-2 project with this body (see pictures below). - I am pretty sure it is the same body Brandon used on his JRX-2 project in this thread: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=28992&hilit=jrx2+red+yellow+truck&...

Re: Inaugural 2023 Tamiya Vintage World Classic - Thunder Alley R/C, Lucama NC - Jan 13-15
I have a couple RC10s almost ready for the track - I am not bringing a B2/B3 backup (like I ran at VONats), so hopefully I can get one of these sorted: Gold chassis: - long wheelbase, 15-degree caster blocks, and limited travel front shocks (hopefully for more on-power steering). Black chassis: - sh...
