Cool! yea, if those caps have been drilled you are best off getting new ones. It's hard enough for me to keep my bottom loaders from leaking, lol. I think you should get the black oring cap gaskets as well. It may be easiest to just get the kit as I think it includes both the red shaft o-rings and the black cap gaskets.

Check the Airtronics MX Sport or MX3.
I use the MX Sport. It is cheaper than the MX3

Pros are that is has a lot of adjustment for the low price

Cons is that it's cheaply built

Those black and red wires are not for a capaitor on that ESC, for sure. I believe they are for a brake light kit. The schocky diode is optional/recommended on this esc.
