Re: RC10 Gold Pan New/Old

Cool! yea, if those caps have been drilled you are best off getting new ones. It's hard enough for me to keep my bottom loaders from leaking, lol. You may be able to plug them up but what's the point once they've been drilled. You can still find nice brushed esc's and motors on ebay FWIW. I'm lookin...

Re: RC10 Gold Pan New/Old

Why do you want new shock caps? use those gold shock caps too, they are nice.

So far it looks good! Are those white Houge Ent. steering bellcranks?

Are you going brushed or brushless?

Re: Gold Shock Rebuild

I think you should get the black oring cap gaskets as well. It may be easiest to just get the kit as I think it includes both the red shaft o-rings and the black cap gaskets.

Re: What 2.4 GHz Radio?

Check the Airtronics MX Sport or MX3.
I use the MX Sport. It is cheaper than the MX3

Pros are that is has a lot of adjustment for the low price

Cons is that it's cheaply built

It works very well. I upgraded from the Futaba Magnum Jr.

The range is amazing!

Re: What percentage of your collection actually runs?

I keep my two shelfers ready to go even though I don't use them. I just have one that I actually run. So, my cars are either broken down into a pile a of parts or all ready to go and actually "set-up" to some degree. IMHO a proper shelver should be ready to go even if it isn't removed from...

Re: How Many RC Cars Do You Have?

Only three RC10's but I could build two more out of parts. It's so hard to not buy more when I see somthing I like on ebay. Space is limted at my house and my OCD helps prevent me from buying cars I don't have space for. I know I only need one more, a oringinal RC with short arms and an ORCCA box. T...

Re: Blue Chassis Jammin Project

Very nice! Did you have to use a longer rear shock shaft with the Jammin rear tower? Is it taller than a standard tower? Regarding the battery trays, You may concider mounting the single tray inline with bulkhead even though the holes are offset on that chassis. You could still mount (show) the Jamm...

Re: glitchyness i cant figure out

Those black and red wires are not for a capaitor on that ESC, for sure. I believe they are for a brake light kit. The schocky diode is optional/recommended on this esc. You should also twist the wires together to limit radio interferance. Also make sure your frequency crystals are good. http://teamn...

Any vintage stock would be good. The blue label associated stock would be best, if you have one.

Re: Cannot find the bell crank

I know, what to do? You can usually find what you need either here or ebay. It can get pricy to replace RC10 parts on Ebay. Spend some time on Tower too, they still have a lot of oringinal RC10 parts in black at "regular" prices. I have a hard time with their search function somtimes. I've...
