From a fellow Procat admirer, those are s-w-eeeeet

Nice alloy goodies, especially the front brackets and gearbox

Do you still keep a runner?

UK model shop with vintage Schumacher parts!

I just bought some vintage Schumacher parts off Alun at Tay Models.

They have a up to date list of all the old stock e.g Bosscat, Cat 2000 etc.

Their email is [email protected]

same low speed damping, less pack?

In the Procat the front currently has No.3 pistons and 37.5 Losi oil. If I wanted similar static damping and less pack i.e. less resistance at speed, could I put in No.4 pistons and 40wt oil? Those plastic plastic mounts just don't transfer the force as effectively as carbon fibre and alloy so when ...

Re: Repairing old wishbone

Thank you very much. Yes, I like that solution. K&S do some thin walled brass tubing 2.5mm O.D. wall thickness 0.225 and 2.05mm I.D. which is ideal. I would need just need to drill out the wishbone a bit first. There is also some 3/32" O.D. tube which seems more abundant but it the inner di...

The 2mm pin is now loose and there is a lot of wheel wobble. I was thinking of packing it with epoxy resin then pushing through a 2mm pin, allow it to set...

saddle trays

I'm swapping to saddle packs for my Kyosho Lazer FS so I drew some new trays and straps for the Procat. They can be used wit the existing posts so hopefully it won't cost too much. I wonder if the different weight distribution with saddles will improve the handling e.g. less body roll? http://i103.p...

Nice rebuild Mick :D

Will you get a new Kamtec XLS shell for it? I'm tempted to put one on my Procat after I've fitted saddle packs.
