Losi JRX2 Wiki page

What we need, is an informed JRX2 expert to update the wiki page for the buggy. It's pretty bad right now.

Re: Help me deck out my 5link Shelf Queen with electronics

Thanks for the tip, guys! I think the novak 4, S148, and NER-2 will be the way to go. now to find them in condition worthy of a shelf queen! You're right, the orange will go nicely with the x2. Can't wait to get this thing finished! Now.. how to find a revolution? I might be able to settle for a pri...

Help me deck out my 5link Shelf Queen with electronics

I want to find some pristine period correct electronics for my shelf queen. I admit complete ignorance of electronics of that period. I remember my car, and remember I ran an airtronics XL2P radio... but couldn't tell you anything about ESCs, Servos, or Recievers of the day, and woudl appreciate any...

Re: Protecting / Treating Original Tires?

So i pulled the shocks apart, and chucked each one into my dremel. Started with 220 grit with light pressure, which knocked all the big stuff off... then switched to 1200. Then, using the wire wheel brush, I dremel'd the threads clean. They came out pretty dang good. There are some deeper pits that ...

Re: Protecting / Treating Original Tires?

How do you recommend getting the gunk off? I was thinking about chucking the shafts into my dremmel and plolishing with metal polish and a terry cloth... or will I need something stronger like a wire wheel from my dremmel?

Re: Protecting / Treating Original Tires?

I have another question for you guys... so the only thing I can really find wrong with my new buggy, is right where the shock eyelets are screwed over the shock shafts, there appears to be some corrosion. Is this rust? What do you recommend to get it off? Does this indicate that perhaps it has origi...

Re: Protecting / Treating Original Tires?

Wurth rubber care, huh. Doesn't look TOO expensive... Maybe I will give that a shot. Photos.. yes, well... I am debating on whether to do a small little 5link photoshoot now, or wait until I obtain a gear cover, and electronics. I am hoping to put in some period correct electronics, and a revolution...

Protecting / Treating Original Tires?

So I just got my mint / never-run JRX2 in the mail today... man is this thing gorgeous. Original brittle orange 5 spoke wheels, the works. My question is, what are you guys doing with the rubber? Are you treating it with something to keep it soft or are you letting it just sit? The tires on this car...

Re: $ for an unrun 5-link JRX2?

Read the rules dude , sorry I offended you , it would not be the first time i have done that to a losi guy . We , as a group , enforced a rule that everyone has to follow . Most of us on this forum have know each other a long time , and rules are what makes this forum great . Post a picture , give ...

Not the "fun factor" really- and Cpt America your post about yourself and your car and the interest to restore it is exactly what brings us together here, it's how we all found this place and why we all hang around. But we have been through that question a bunch, and there is no "cor...
