Nice.
I've had a few Keith's since being home from work. I even snuck in a Brava at lunch time, when I went to pick up my Roti.
Mmmm.

I would totally do that! Maybe cut a pair of jeans into to shorts, so short the pockets hang down. Buy a mullet wig...THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:They should integrate that into the VONATS.

That's pretty awesome, thanks for the uploads!
I also noticed a bunch of guys around the track wearing only tiny shorts. And the music at the end of A3 was fantastic. I'm glad I was barely a teenager by the end of the 80's!

On top of my now-usual Red Stripe, I picked up a coupe of cans of FAXE and TIGER. Both are lagers.
Both were pretty good, but I think I liked Faxe a little more. I'd drink either one again in the future.

Re: Clear non-painted rear spoilers?
Yeah, whether you paint it from the top or the bottom, you're going to see the paint-side on at least part of the wing. In the rare chance I do actually paint them, it's usually all white, or all black.

Re: Clear non-painted rear spoilers?
I don't paint my wings on my racer either. I go through several wings by the time I go through one body, so I just can't be bothered. There are not even any nooks and crannies on the wings I use. The best part about the 22 wing, is that it comes pre-cut out! You just have to ream the holes.

Some springs are even dyable. I know a guy who used to dye all his springs black. I'm not sure what make of springs they are/were, though. I think whatever coating was on the springs can take a dye. I'll ask him next time I see him.

Awesome so far! love to see that I'm not the only one who can create beauty out of a chaotic work area! :D Speaking of chaos, here's what my hauler looks like after a day of racing: tims_messy_hauler.jpg I organize it the night before I go racing, but all hell breaks loose at the track, and I shove...

Thanks guys. I think I've found a local guy who can do it for me. Hopefully I'll have everything ready to go in the next couple of days.

Re: anyone else interested in a "on the bench" thread?
Over the past while my work shop has been way too messy to work on so I usually end up bringing all my stuff upstairs to work in front of the big screen! Here's a shot I took while working on a pair of yokomo's. Much of both of those builds have changed drastically since this shot. Jeff's place is ...

I'm sure this may have come up in the past, but haven't been able to find what I am after through the ol' search function. I have drawn up a couple of different versions of chassis' for my slim RB5 (one is mid motor, one is rear motor w/saddle packs) that I am almost ready to cut out. I bought a 12...
