Mid-Six Spare Parts Project

Well, the building itch has hit me again. I was going through my old parts box, and found I had almost everything to put together another RC10...I already have one, so I've decided to experiment. I picked up a sheet of 3mm G10 and using only the parts I have, build a mid-motor road car, much in the ...

Going Bolink 1/10 pan car front end...simple onroad design...
complex out back/simple up front!
Kind of sounds like the sprint car I built. Can't wait to see it finished.

Re: The 'Holiest' of Holy Grails AGI Jammer Build

Very interesting build...I take it that you're going to mount the tranny as a mid. Did you cut the chassis yourself, or is it made for that? Also, how are you mounting the bulkhead/tower?...I just started a mid project out of spare parts.

This is really an awesome build. 3D printers have really been a game changer for builders.

Re: New project -- The "BC3"

Very interesting idea. I've wanted to build a 2wd using a TC setup, but I don't have the heart to tear mine down for it.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I can try, but probably not very well. :D It is quite a hodge podge, and hard to describe. The gearbox is DR/RB-10, flipped around, and mounted to a printed adapter / bulkhead that ends up fastening to the original six 8-32 chassis holes. The susp arms are stock RC-10, but the arm mounts are stock ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

The current plan is oval fun runner. :) I don't think I have any local oval courses, but I would love to just run on some open dirt around here and see how it does. It is meant to be kinda 50/50 new/old, so it won't be any competitor, but it would be nice to just run and improve it without losing t...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I spent last evening scraping and replacing the decals on my sprint car. Everything is vinyl that I cut out on my wife's Cricut machine. The "Cali Dirt Videos" decal on the wing is from an awesome Youtube site (shameless plug!)....I sent a pic of the previous version to the guy, and he sen...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

That tractor is sweet! I want to see a video of it driving! I'll have to take some video shots of it. This is the 3rd time I've rebuilt it...I'll post it on the original thread. If there was ever an RC vehicle that needed a scale Daisy Duke figure sitting on it, that tractor is it! So cool! D...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Wow guys!...Life has taken me in a different direction. I can't believe it's been over 6 years since I've posted anything on this site...I have lots of catching up to do. Racing died out for me several years ago, and since my last post, I rebuilt the tractor (yet again), Decided to go modern with a ...

Re: She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy

Thanks for all the comments...I think my building itch has been satisfied for awhile.
I may change out the wheels, if I find something that looks better.
