The new Rally car

See it here:

It is basically a Slahs 4x4 with a low and flat chassis. That's to say, much closer to what the racing SCTs are... I'm pretty sure lots of people will buy this to put Slash bodies and wheels on it :)

Re: How DO you "Bash" ?

My bashing is actually less abusive than my racing, at least there are no other cars to hit me :) And it mostly consists of cornering round a "natural" course. I've never understood the bashing that involves huge jumps that cannot be landed. What's the point? I might as well throw the car ...

Congrats :) So, when are you getting him his first RC, or kart for that matter? ;)

Re: Traxxas SRB... Stadium Racing Buggy

Very cool!!! I can't wait till my kids are long enough to have their own hobby grade RCs :D My son has the hang of back and forth, but still can't really do the steering.

The AX10 is a cool ideal, slow and controllable.

Re: RC from your iphone screen

Technology wise that's very cool. However, you are replacing a perfectly awesome input device with a sucky one. You are going to be far more precise with physical sticks, triggers, and wheels than with a touch-screen and accelerometers.

Re: Crazy, But is AE testing for a re-re RC-10?

Chris K, I see what you are saying. Tamiya pulls off these re-re cars all the time, but I think Tamiyas are more mainstream. A whole lot of people remember what a Frog or Blackfoot is, only a handful of racers have as much of a soft spot for the RC10... And 50% of them are probably on this forum, an...

Re: Watch out speed demons!

WOW! The X0-1 has competition! ;)

Who on earth wants to control a buggy with a phone anyway?

Having said that, this looks cool, tiny and fully proportional.

$89 though! $89!!!! I'd consider it for 20 :)

Re: see, people were lazy back in 1985 too....

The 80s was already filled with labour saving devices, back then we truly believed that in a few years time we'd have a house robot that would do all the housework for us. It was an age of almost uncontrolled technological excitement. Is it a wonder we felt a lil lazy? ;)

I watched the Team C cars take Expert Stock Buggy & 2wd SCT at the Hot Rod Shootout, against many of the top teams in the US (here in Southern California). Here's their little press release with a nice photo too :) http://www.teamcracing.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=...

OK cool :)

Found these in stock: http://www.lefthander-rc.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=444

Now oval RC racing here in the UK is totally different than it is the USA. So sadly I can't get hold of the part locally...

Dyna Storm wing mounts

Hi guys, how easy are these to find? I'm no Tamiya expert I'm afraid, and I've never tried to buy any rarer Tamiya part like this. I don't want it for a Dyna Storm I'm actually trying to mount a Wing on a Traxxas Bandit like it would have been mounted on a TRX-1. Basically trying to achieve this sor...

Re: just got a Stampede

I found out it has a 20t stinger motor it seems slow but I have heard that could be my 6cell 2200mah nihm battery making it slow it is slow to start with... you can get a few more rpms with a better pack, but it still is a very very mild motor :) Paul I agree, even as a newbee a good 15 years or so...
