Re: Battle scarred TomCAT

Those definitely look like some version of the Brimod shock on the box, never noticed that before

Re: Battle scarred TomCAT

Has anyone noticed the shocks, cross-rolled pattern and different caps, on the boxart - do they exist ? Do you have a closer pic of the shocks? I can't say I've ever noticed that before. Your buggy has definitely seen a few upgrades over the years. I love the PK chassis set, is it normal SWB length...

Re: Barracuda?

Thanks for that Terry, just a shame I have no instructions for it. Although it works, I don't think I'll be using it for much.

Oh and I think David is still a pretty handy driver these days too

Re: Schumacher Fireblade 2000

Thanks for the comments guys. I had matching purple aerial holder & servo mounts.... you need to find some of those for this car Paul :D The purple aerial holder is quite hard to find now :? Although, I just checked and Schumacher are still showing the purple servo mounts in stock :) I know what...

Schumacher Fireblade 2000

I've hardly had any time recently to get any of my projects complete, but after nearly 4 years this one is finished (ish) I've had this Fireblade 2000 a quite a while. I felt it needed a rebuild so while I was at it, I decided to throw every optional extra part I had at it  It's got the full ca...

Re: New to me Cougar 2 Works

It's hard to tell from the pics, but are those shocks the correct ones for a works? They look like the silver ones from the Team car, where the Works should have the dark green shocks.

Re: Barracuda?

Thanks Dan :)

Our race timing back in the day consisted of a BBC micro and 2 people to operate it. 1 shouting the numbers of the cars as they wizzed past, the other entering manually entering race on the keypad. That's one thing I don't reminisce about the old days

Barracuda?

Can anyone tell anything about this charger? It came with a car I bought. It looks a decent quality old charger. I seem to remember Barracuda from the early 90's, but something to do with race timing. I just can't remember. Also there are a lot of outputs from the charger, one is a temp sensor, the ...

Re: At last, a TopCat for Dan!

Fantastic job so far Dan :) I use this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/CarPlan-Flash-Dash-Dashboard-Shine/dp/B00B03YY80 to clean up my tyres. Dash flash has a sponge inside and it's quick n easy to clean the release agent of those tyres. It's also makes a great job of plastic parts, and for an added bonus...

Re: This was on AE Facebook page...

Is it just me that thinks this looks cheap? :? Comparing it to the Centros and Vegas anyway.. I know the cars will be fast, AE's always are, but it just doesn't look quality. Plus AE are late to the mid party, so this needs to be really good.

Very cool pictures :)

Kevin Moore's Procat is one of the coolest paint schemes. I posted a report with a picture of it in the scans section a while back.
