I like it when someone is brave enough to build a NIB
You're right about those lexan dust shields, they were next to useless and ended up holding in the dust rather than keep it out.

Re: Craiglist rc parts/cars posts, hilarity thread
I've never seen anyone describe speed in feet per minute before And that's not even fast, 12.75mph

Re: FWD-GT TOP SPEED CAR
I think it would always be best to keep the cars wheels inside the bodyline to reduce drag. Have a look at this Schumacher speed run car : http://technabob.com/blog/2011/06/10/schumacher-mi3-worlds-fastest-remote-controlled-car/ http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/schumacher_mi3_rc_...

Re: FWD-GT TOP SPEED CAR
Very cool project :) I'd love to give a top speed car a go, but the roads around here are just far too lumpy. If you're looking for ways to support the bodyshell to stop it collapsing at speed, them maybe think about these : http://demonpowerproducts.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=8096 I've used...

Re: Race Modified; Mardave Meteor Project
Looking good Dan :) I always wondered if Chris (Wilkinson) still had the mould for the LWB Meteor. I know he bought Mardave, but you'd think he would have got all the tooling even if it was obsolete. I raced V12's for years, and before I bought my own first buggy, I was lent a SWB Meteor. It really ...

They can be recovered, but ask yourself is it worth it?
The price of a new lipo is low compared to the potential damage that could be caused by a failure.

Re: !! WHATS UP FARMER AT THE WORLD'S UPDATE !!
I was watching a video earlier on neobuggy where the drivers being interviewed likened the track to racing on high grip astro or carpet.

Re: PROJECT 3000 CARBON
The CAT 3000 is one of my favourites :) The arms are strong enough, and I've never broken too many. You can get quite a lot of purple bling for the 3000, the diff housings front and rear, top and bottom, are available in alloy, the front C hubs too. The shock bottoms are available in purple alloy to...

Re: schumacher spares - confusing?
The big 6 steering blocks etc in the first part number should be fine on Cougars, actually quite a lot of the big 6 parts can be used on cougars. As for those Rascal part numbers you posted, i'm not too sure. They do look similar, and may work, but you'd be taking a chance.

Ironman motor and Cobra Modifieds.
These two motors came with some cars I bought recently. Does anyone have more info about them? I seem to remember the Cobra lathes but not the motors. And I've never come across Ironman RC Motors before. The Ironman is based on an Epic can, and the Cobra is an Air supply. http://i90.photobucket.com/...

Launched today I was thinking about a SVR for next season, but I might just have to buy this instead.

Re: New Schumacher Cougar 2wd buggy!!!!
There's plenty spares available for the SV still. Most of the parts are compatible with the SV2 and even SVR, so no issues for the future either I would think.
