In 10 years, the cost of these have fallen so much. I can't wait to see what else is available in the next 10 years. Tabletop waterjet??

Any coupon codes for AMain Hobbies?
I can't find any current codes other than free shipping (don't need code for it anyway) or a free t-shirt. Anyone have a % off or $20 off $250?

Re: Not slow enough, need help.
I did pick-up a Castle Link cable kit and a RC4WD 35T motor, haven't had time to sit down with it. I'll try it with the Castle SCT ESC and see if it's what I was expecting. I don't have too much invested in the ESC combo, it was NIB $100 shipped from a ebay New York hobby shop. Kind of funny, the Ca...

Re: Not slow enough, need help.
Great, I knew I should have stayed away from mondern technology. Many on a RC Crawler forum recommended that setup, that's why I purchased it. So keep the ESC and use a brushed motor? 55T?

Not slow enough, need help.
I'm putting together a Trailfinder2 with a Castle SCT Sidewinder 3800KV with a 14T pinion and a Futaba 4PL. First, this is my first brushless system. When I start to pull on the trigger, the motor goes from not turning to lots of RPM's (IDK, maybe 5000 - guessing from sound). There is variable speed...

Re: Sad... another hobby shop closing.
Linkie no workie so I copied from the Facebook page... That's odd, works on my computer. :?: I've been to this hobby shop several times. It had many issus working against it. Parking was horrible asit is located on a busy thoroughfare that also has a light rail line going down it. You would have to...

Custom Bicycle Company
I know a few here are into vintage bicycles and BMX. I have been talking to the owner of this company, http://bombusbikes.com/ about stuff unrelated to bikes and the subject of him and his wife owning a small business making custom bikes came up. Just wanted to pass it along as he seems an honest pe...

Re: RC4WD Trail Finder 2
Thanks guys. I really dig it. It is a TON of fun. At work today all I could think about was that I wish I was going for a nice walk thru the woods or down by the river with it. Jeff, the rubber mirrors came off of ebay. I had to add the reflective part, I had some chrome decal material in my decal ...

The regular-sized Johnson
I have a new Johnson motor from a power tool, hate to toss it into the scrap bin. Here's the specs:http://terpconnect.umd.edu/~grams/motor%20HC683LG-001.pdf

Opinions needed for 4ch radio
Looking for a decent 4ch 2.4GHz transmitter & receiver for my backyard-use Trailfinder 2 crawler. Has anyone usd this one? And who makes it or just a no-namer?

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?
it was a good move from an brand equity standpoint. just seeing the box on the shelf at a hobby store will keep their heritage alive by reminding the community of where they came from kinda thing. and the spare parts keep the guys that come here happy, and the guys that come here are the best brand...
