Re: Capo 8x8 military truck

Did you see the pics of the axles? Very nice detail and craftsmanship. So why does stuff made in China and sold in the US snap if you look at wrong?

What are you talking about willis?! :) I drill them all the time. Slow speed, hard feed pressure. Yes, one's small as 4-40 might be tricky but not impossible.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Question, a lot of the guys have said the parts weren't white. I wonder if the whitening trick would work on these new parts? As far as orders, I'm upset I updated my address like a week or two ago. They just took my money a couple of days ago and checked the invoice, still shows the old address. T...

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Received my two 10 minutes ago. Opened the box that had the crinked label on the bottom. Love it but their is no mistaken it for the original. The tops of the chassis sides are beveled and the logo is different. Didn't measure but the thickness looks a little less. Mmmmm, smell that fresh lexan and ...

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

How about a few "my credit card was charged!" Mine was, $459.97 for two. When my wife asked why I purchase two, I replied the other was for our son - He's 7 weeks old. I don't think she believed me. :?

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Does anyone know if the gold/green #6281 8-32 x 7/8 screws will be available once the kit is released? I've had to use these darn blue screws in a few of my builds and they just don't match. :D Not sure if this listing is wrong but there're listed as yellowish-gold. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Associat...

Re: Vintage toy RC; a blast from my past

Here's mine, kept it all these years...my parents went to Japan and brought this back for me for Christmas. I'd had several toy-grade RC's before, but this was a different level entirely. Not quite hobby grade but probably what started to really get me serious about RC. The 6 C-batteries fit in a c...

Re: My other passion - Lego Technic

Where do you get the special edition Technic kits from Lego or can you order from your local store? Special editions don't come out very often but when they do, they can be purchased direct from Lego's online store. There are some kits that are available in Europe that are not available in the US (...

My other passion - Lego Technic

Like a few others here, I also like to build Lego models of the Technic series. Also like certain RC models, the price some kits can fetch is  . Limited edition Crawler 20,000pcs. Each has it's unique license plate of 1 to 20,000. Set is sold-out and now available on ebay and other special onl...

How much did you pay? I see the four lights on the top, are there more on the bottom or just white to reflect?

The good stuff contained trichloroethane. I sure wish I wore gloves back then  In 1993-94, I worked in a factory making correction fluid products. We had 30-40 55 gallon drums at all times. i used to wash my hands in 5 gallon pail of the stuff. I know better now. How can 1,1,1-t...

Re: Traveling with Rc cars on an airplane?

I wouldn't pack it in a suit case with other item such as clothes. First, you don't want it to look like you are trying to hide it. Second, you want quick, easy inspection access for the screeners. i would use a hard, lockable case with a form insert cut to match the car. Keep tools and batteries se...
