Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
I've had these for a long time and always wondered who made them. Maybe See's? They fit Monster Beetle, Blackfoot, etc. The way the rear wheel bypasses the adapter and mounts straight into the axle pin might help identify them. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/shutupanddrive714/RC%20crap/WUT/...

Re: Can someone 3D print this for me?
If you can get me dimensions, I can quickly model it for you. You can then take the stl file and upload to shapeways for print, or otherwise send to where ever to print.

Re: SRB Hop Up Pics & Info Thread
Who was cutting the butterfly chassis plates with the FRP manufacturer's logo printed on them? RCH? I don't think I've seen a confirmed CRP chassis that wasn't plain. I've got a couple green long wheelbase chassis plates with print on them too and always wondered who made them. Was anyone other than...

Re: Who's into slot cars
I was heavy into early slot stuff for a long time. I still have a display case full of it in my office. Traded off some of my extra parts/cars a year or so ago, but still have more than I would like to admit....
I was really into the 60s stuff. Dynamic in particular.

Love those 2 bodies! Wish I had a couple of them! I think I remember seeing the Heb on Tamiyaclub a long time ago.

Re: VW "popo" M04 based
Seems like your a VW guy! I've got a lot of them myself. I actually shortened a Kamtec Bus body myself! My idea was to build a Bus version of the Kyosho Wheelie Beetle. Stuck it on a Trail Blaster chassis I had laying around. http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/shutupanddrive714/RC%20cr...

Re: RC and Automotive Art
Here's something pretty interesting. Each year the Ridler Award trophy features a cast model of the previous year's winning car. A few extras are always cast. Sources and methods change from year to year. Here's a selection of them- http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f164/shutupanddrive714/1E1FF4C7-9...

Re: 3d printing some SRB stuff
well I finally got the 2 piece ball cups sorted out I think. Every time I would print them the tolerances would be slightly off. I would test print 2 or 3 of the same file and none of them would come out the same. Either too tight or too loose or something. Maybe it has something to do with h...

Re: SEMA 2015 pics
Link added to the first post with pics from day 4. Just randomly mulling around the show and meeting up with the last few work contacts. It was a VERY productive year for me and I lined up some awesome new clients and projects. It's going to be a fun year for work! Had to share this pic. One of my f...

SEMA 2015 pics
if you're interested, here's about 750 pics from SEMA this week. There's a little bit of everything here. The show is HUGE and crowded, so it's hard to get decent pics of anything really. Day 1 https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.979242282121573.1073741831.379347525444388&type=3 Day2 https...
