Re: Early 80's Kyosho Rocky 4WD

He'll have to wait until he amasses 30 posts as we just put a new rule into effect of no PM usage for new members. Unfortunately, people creating accounts just to hassle other members with zero intention of actually ever using the board has gotten out of hand. And so in the interest of getting to 3...

Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **

I'm a Belgian waffle man myself.

The donation system should be back up and running again. I spent an hour and a half reinstalling and setting up the entire thing from scratch only to realize the problem was something else.

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

Tabletop pulling has been around since the '70s but you hear/read next to nothing about it these days. Not many people even know it exists. Seems to be predominantly a Midwest thing here in the states. The 'vintage' tabletop pullers were even wilder due to having no control over them besides being g...

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't the carpet big rig pullers the big daddy of the pullers? Always wanted one of these..... still do  DragginWagon.jpg Yeah, I'd say there's a case for that. The carpet pullers in general pull much more weight than their dirt equivalents due to the superior tra...

Re: ** Kyosho JJ Ultima Waffle **

You'll have to bear with me as the donation system no longer appears to be recording any donations made. :? I'm getting the notifications directly from PayPal to my email though, so they can be figured out that way for now. It's just a much slower process.

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

Alright, I'm finally awake again. There's a class for seemingly everything these days. They even have one for BoLink Diggers. Find out what classes are being run at your local event, so you don't show up with something you can't run. I'll give you my personal take on pullings backstory, which ...

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

I'm watching with interest, surprised Lowgear hasn't chimed in..... Here I am! I just spent the last 7 hours working on the site, and it's now 8:00am here, and I'm on my way to bed. I'll post more when I wake up but yeah... I have an unhealthy obsession with pullers. I've never pulled in a sa...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

Newly registered members with under 30 posts can no longer PM or email other users. This prevents people from creating accounts for the sole purpose of hassling other members via those methods. They don't have access to the B/S/T section, and shouldn't be allowed to interact with other members out o...

Re: Things that irritate you

Random PM's from a "no poster" that assume you're swimming in parts bins like Scrooge MacDuck as you gaze upon library quality shelves upon shelves of new builds and NIB stacks of a particular model of car.. Dude, I got one, ONE of those. And it took me years to pull it off. And then when...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

Well I have some minor bad news. I received a response from the extensions developer, and they can't figure out how to fix the autocomplete predictions problem noted above. :? It was discouraging to read as that was the last remaining problem, and similar to another problem that was easily fixable. ...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

You're welcome! :) There's still an issue on the results page though. When you start typing a new search term, the autocomplete predictions show up white on a white background making them invisible. I'm waiting for a response from the developer so I can fix it.

Re: Forum News & Discussion

Google Enhanced Search has now been added as a means to compliment the original built-in one. I installed it last year but it wouldn't work right so it was put on the back burner until recently. After going back-and-forth with its developer over the past several days, it's working to the point wher...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

Everything online is seemingly spying on us these days. It's a sad state of affairs. I just spent another 2 1/2 hours on this, and there's only one part left I can't fix. Google doesn't allow you to change the white background of their search box to a different color. The problem is our main skin (t...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

That's odd about the errors but not too odd. I was experimenting with the board configuration last night until early this morning between 11:00pm-5:00am (eastern standard time) that caused the board to crash several times. Maybe that either directly had to do with it, or was a residual effect. It ha...
