Checkpoint GOLD

I got a few photos last night of the used motors, and they all look like they were VERY well cared for. It looks like there are both stock and mod motors, from Trinity, Reedy, Black Magic, Fantom, Losi Revolution, Twister, Kyosho, Litespeed, Speedworks, Race Prep, B&R and even a couple of Astro...

I believe you ! I am doing research on it now. I believe the battery hold downs were made from the same thickness fiberglass the shock towers were made from. I am going to call Associated on Monday to talk to them about a few other questions I have concerning facts about the early RC10 ( for my web...

Re: Keep the RC10T or replace it with a T4?

Tonight I took my RC10 gold tub runner out for a spin. It was a blast. It's got a 14t Speed Gems motor and a Super Rooster and a bunch of good old school stuff on it. I just drove it around the neighborhood. I built it to be a runner. I wanted to run it harder, but it is in pretty good shape. It's ...

indeed, the fiberglass battery hold down were only displayed on the box of the first RC10 kits (1984, I am pretty shure of the date), they were never included, like the silver shocks, the four head lights (only two in the original kit), and of course the aluminium spring retainers shown on the box ...

Any of you guys remember when the first year the RC10 came out? It came out with fiberglass battery hold down bars. I am looking for a pair. Used or new will. I had one of the first ones in '83/'84, and I believe the car was released in '82 or '83 sometime (I'll have to check on that one). I don't ...

Actually, I do have those...

MY RC10

Here is my RC10. I took the Aristocraft radio/servro setup and will be replacing it with the S132H Futabas. Right now I am using bigger servos. I'll show some of the older photos. 8)
