Re: Another new bloke
Nice one Mick. I wish my wife was so understanding. I have to lie and say that I'm purchasing rc stuff for my friend because he doesn't have an ebay account. The only thing that saves me is it's she can't tell what's what in my mess of rc's.

i have the spindles already....i would just need to get the stub axles. I think the bearings from the jrx2 wheels can be used in the spindles.

Losi 2wd rims?
Hi guys, I'm trying to get my jrx pro runner going and I need some front rims. I have a box full of Losi rims but they seem to be all 4wd. I did come across this rim and tire. I was just wondering if Losi ever made a 2wd that takes the weird shaped hex in the front? http://i181.photobucket.com/album...

Re: Blackfoot / Monster Beetle Thorp transmission
I have taken everything apart, cleaned and re-greased the diff. There was a 2mm washer in the thrust bearing that was completely shattered. I replaced it and put everything back together. It seems to be working good without any slipping. Thanks guys!

Re: Blackfoot / Monster Beetle Thorp transmission
I never knew Robinson Racing made a diff for the Blackfoot. I have taken the diff apart and re-greased everything with new Associated ball diff grease. Hopefully that fixes the slipping...

Blackfoot / Monster Beetle Thorp transmission
Hey guys, I recently purchased a Blackfoot off Ebay and it had a Thorp tranny in it. It's got the 48 pitch gears which makes it super quiet. I tried changing around different motors and found out that I cannot use a silver can or the black can motor because the shaft on the motor is shorter than the...

Re: Help Identify this Blackfoot/Monster beetle part
That was my first impression too but I just wanted to make sure. Looks to be cut from a block of delrin. If it is home made, he did a good job.

Re: My Blackfoot runner
That makes alot of sense. I've heard alot about the frog dogbones popping out. Does this still happen when you use the cv boots?
