Re: My wheel nut fell off

I think that's why kids don't stick with anything. It's like going to Walmart and picking up a Tyco, which they always get bored with quick. No pride or time involved in the build and learning the hobby. Pretty soon plastic models will only come painted and assembled too.

Re: Tidy or Messy ?

I'll straighten up, start a project, then another begins....... Right now I have a Monster buggy spread out on the dining room table, a T-maxx on the coffee table, a RC10gt on the dining room floor and about sixty or so plastic model kit boxes spread across the living room floor. Last week it was ju...

Here's the before, never was happy with this paint. I was thinking the roll cage was silver, two weeks of soaking and my memory is gone !

Running out of elbow grease tonight. The Novus is polishing it out pretty good.

Re: Did The DOT 3 Thing, Now I Have A Question ?

The Novus 2 and lots of elbow grease is working great. I haven't noticed the body being any more brittle than it was before, already had some cracking up front. You can see up in the roll cage where silver was, I'm just going to sit and polish it all out. Same with the wing. I'm afraid to do anythin...

Re: Did The DOT 3 Thing, Now I Have A Question ?

It's odd because the lexan is perfectly clear in most areas, but in some where different colors were used it left a shadow. I might get the Novus out too.

Also had to scrub pretty good to get through other sots. I heard mention of polishing ? What do you use to polish scuff marks ? This wa...
