Re: Team losi, but what?
Looks like a Losi LXT with the LRM transmission which came standard with the truck. The LRM transmission is shared with the JRX series of buggies

Re: Getting my B3 Race Ready
Hi I have recently dug out my old B3 with the idea of taking up racing again and I have noticed I am missing the CVD dog bone and the relevant pins and coupling. As I am looking to race the car my intention is to try and replace the parts I need to with modern more readily available parts. I'm inte...

Re: Chris VanAir 2016 inspired build
I'm not 100% sure the 3563 adapter would have fitted the standard setup anyway, i think the backplate would foul on the motor plate before the recess would engage with the pin in the topshaft

Re: Raider and Rocky Gearbox Mod - Run Taller Gearing (bigger than a 15T Pinion)
Interesting reading, thanks for sharing I don't own a Raider, but im always interested in gearing cars correctly etc, What i dont quite understand is, I'm assuming that when they say 32 idler or 36 idler, thats effectively like a spur gear (as in the 36t or 32t gear matches up to the pinion) and if ...

Re: Kyosho Turbo Ultima MID MOTOR
Looking good mate, keep us updated.
I used Erik's quadra symmetry setup on the front of my ultima outlaw truck and so far so good, it certainly brings the front end out to the correct width, it just looks right so i've got another set for my rere on its way

Re: Ultima 2019
While i'm here guys, any other tips on the car? i'm picking it up to go vintage racing, i've heard they're a bit on the heavy side, so i was thinking titanium screws might help as it looks like theres a lot of screws holding it together and maybe some milling of the motor plate which looked fairly t...

Re: Ultima 2019
To run a shorty in the spot where the normal full stick pack sits, could you narrow up the top deck in the battery area and bring inwards the screw holes that the plastic brackets bolt to, thus moving the battery straps inwards? i haven't got my car yet so im only speculating from afar. Even if the ...

Re: Finally, the official Futaba FXT thread
I should have posted in this thread previously, I picked up an FXT about 2 years ago to take vintage racing. It finally got a run at our mini-enduro race, its the bright yellow truck that pops up around 4:52. Keen eyes might also spot an FX10 getting around the track too. When building the truck it ...

That´s an awesome thread. :D A million thanks for sharing that with us. I have a lwb optima mid too and that's really interesting. You've changed the belt too. How can you ensure it is brushless proof? Are there any durability / strength indexes? lol indexes....have you seen him drive the thing? if...

Re: Factory Works Traxxas Rustler to SRT-R Conversion
Awesome, thanks for that, i agree, the grey looks cheaper, i'll hold out for a black one, but i figure if i find a cheap grey one, it could be useful for spares if needed at the track and maybe some tougher bits like you have mentioned
cheers
