Re: Can this buggy be raced without spending a fortune?
Well I have the shock tower on the way now and I just bought a nice collection of shock springs yesterday from askbob and I plan on rebuilding all 4 shocks. The other parts you recommend seem reasonable enough if I can find them. Also what would be a good battery pack to run, I only have some crap p...

Can this buggy be raced without spending a fortune?
Ok, I know this buggy is old and needs a lot of work. But I'm wondering if this buggy could stand a fighting chance at the track running stock? I don't have a fortune to spend on it, funds are very limited on this rebuild project. Any thoughts, suggestions or pointers on whats most important? I woul...

Where's the throttle on that thing ? Here are a few more pictures of the thing, kind of a funny setup on this remote. http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg305/cautiousone/20.jpg http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg305/cautiousone/21.jpg http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg305/cautiousone/22-9.jpg...

Re: Airtronics CS2P
Thanks for that info, I think you're right about the Futaba pack fitting this radio. I might try to get it up and running and see how it works out. ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: Been feeling a little Blue
Wow, the buggy is looking amazing, I like the black and blue colors. Bummer about the fiberglass not taking a good dye though, I've never tried to dye and was thinking about it, maybe I will stick to the white, lol... Nice job though, I'm loving it...

Lot of 4 Electric Motors
I just bought these 4 motors on eBay and hoping they are decent. Anyone out there know anything about them? I was just looking for some good stock motors and hoping I got a good deal.

Re: Anyone ever seen this motor or ESC?
I have the exact same motor, minus the label and all. I was wondering what it was as well. Any idea on the specs of it? I couldn't find much info on it myself, most everything I could find was on the Green Machine 3, but I did see that is was a popular ROAR stock motor. Mine runs awesome and I'm ke...

Airtronics CS2P
I picked up this Airtronics CS2P today and wondering if anyone here has had some experience with them before? This one is missing the battery tray and I'm wondering if it's worth trying to get it up and running or not?

It's against my religion to waste a good IPA. I figured if push came to shove, I would use my bar stool to fend off any attacks while I polished off my beer.jon burrows wrote:that was pretty brave even to finish the beer

Re: Cool RC video!
The RC video was pretty cool, loved the sound effects. And on the other subject, we have lots of lesbians up here in Portland, kind of like the land of lesbians. Not to recently I went to a bar to have a quick beer and as I was sitting there waiting to be served I noticed that the whole bar was only...

Re: My $3.00 RC10 & The best source for parts?
I switched out the electronics on my buggy, just waiting on the shock tower to come in. I did manage to wire the broken shock tower together good enough to get it out on the street and run it for a bit. Man I had forgotten how much fun it was running these cars. Looks like I'm hooked again ![Laughing ](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

Re: Rooster Reversible Questions
OK, so drbelleville suggested I call tech support and as it turns out, the wiring diagram shown in their PDF is for an old Airtronics and it has to be wired as white, red, black and not white, black, red. So it's up and running and as soon as I get that shock tower I'll have it road ready :D Thanks ...

Re: Rooster Reversible Questions
Ok, I can't seem to make this set up work for some reason. I had to change the pug on the Rooster to make it fit the Futaba receiver and I followed the wiring pattern given, but I get nothing when I plug the ESC into the receiver. When I unplug it from the receiver the LED on the ESC comes on, but w...
