I went with the 490 from Banzai, didn't do the brushless mainly because I'm not familiar with it.
I still use nicad and nimh, I know lipo is the way to go, but still happy with the old way.

Received 3 of these last week.
Race Prep Aluminum Wings, in my opinion the best looking of the wings available at the time.
Will use 1 on an SRB, the other 2 will be used on vintage Scorpions.

RCH motor part number "1800". It's a fully modified Igarashi mill. - Bearings at both ends. - The endbell locking tabs have been removed and the yellow tape holds the endbell in place. - A flat has been ground on the pinion end of the shaft for the grubscrew to seat properly. I don't know...

yep, I have a RCH front sway bar in the pack, it comes with the sway bar and zip ties.
Not much to it compared to the rear bar.

Well that sucks.
Ordered a couple of things from him last weekend.

Read a few bad stories on TamiyaClub about him too, of course after I payed.

Had seen some of those, not all.

Was talking with J-sou about SRB hop ups, and the lack of pics and information on the web. What is out there is scattered about, thought it would be cool to have a spot for them here. Would also be neat to see pics of SRB's from back in the day in race trim. If you have any hop ups, racers etc.. let...

A couple of my Firebirds, lousy pics, but all I could find on this pc.
Don't have any of my GTO, it's been apart a long time, the birds both need some work, the Formula was my driver a few years ago.
Lost my desire to work on them, I think it is coming back!
