Re: Whats on Your Wish List. ??
The prices on 3d printers are becoming pretty obtainable. Same with the 3d scanners. So yeah....those are on my wish list!

always drooled over them but never saw one in person. simple design, same basic concept still used. I bet they work great! Until you try using reverse ![Shocked ](./images/smilies/icon_eek.gif)

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
If you tried the adjustment pots and cant get the motor to shut off, it may be fried- that would also explain why the solder pop fuse keeps blowing. I always set the pots with the motor connected but pinion off, just my personal preference. that way I can hear the motor but it isnt loaded. Might try...

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
You literally just solder the pins together with a blob of solder. Again, its been a while but I am 95% sure that unit used the solder pop technology.

Re: 6 gear outdrive problem
How many bearings in each outdrive? If you can push and pull the outdrives it sounds like there is something missing

Re: Problems with my Novak 410 M1 esc
Iirc the "fuse " on that is a solder pop. You just jumper the legs with a blob of solder. A diode may cause problems.

Re: vintage esc
The tekin has a fuse on the top opposite the adjustment pots, pull it and check it. I replaced a million of them when I worked in the store 10 years ago.

My favorite is when they look at the decals to decide the title. "Rare vintage Texaco piaa dominos RC car". You send an email asking what it is and never get a response. Ahhh, craigslist ftw.
