Re: Losi Mini-T "1.0" vintage buggy conversion
Cool project!
I believe the 75% scale of 1/10 scale works out to be about 1/14th scale overall. I wonder if it will really end up being a little larger than the modern Mini-B (1/16 scale), or if Losi just didn't get the numbers quite right.

Re: Inaugural 2023 Tamiya Vintage World Classic - Thunder Alley R/C, Lucama NC - Jan 13-15
The Beast Of The East race is over now and I'm told that the track is being reprofiled. The basic flow and layout will be the same, but the big jumps are being cut down a bit to make it more vintage friendly. If I make it out there during the week I'll take some photos. Otherwise I'll see you all th...

Hey Nick,. Can you give us a run down on like pit space and other stuff about the track and shop? The track has benches along the walls in the track space for pitting, they do have power strips and outlet boxes. The hobby shop does stock a good selection of buggy tires and some truck tires. There i...

Can't wait to see y'all there! I'll have my RC10 team car and XX4 for 17.5 and 10.5 just like at Vonats. I'll also be running my Tamiya Madcap in classic, and maybe my Clodbuster in Heavy Metal if I can finish it in time. There should be plenty of space at the track if you want to set up a display t...

Re: Your top five cherished RC (by manufacture) in a collection?
Losi Micro T  I forgot about those little guys! I think I had more fun with it than any other RC I ever owned. We had an epic oval track series going at my work, with 3 or 4 races each day. I made a small, laughably crude, paper "traveling trophy" that went to whoever won the most re...

Re: Your top five cherished RC (by manufacture) in a collection?
My top five (but in no particular order): IRC Vulcan SE - This 1/16 scale Chinese nitro buggy was my first hobby grade RC. It was a pain in the ass back then, but I always regretted selling it. Now I regret buying another one! Original RC10 Worlds - I bought this a few years ago and raced it on car...

Re: Mid Motor Low CG Spec Carpet Monster
Have you tried fitment with both the rear arm in place as well as the spur on the right side? I have not, I'll probably have some issues since the Bandit arms are a bit beefier around the hinge pin holes than the stock AE arms, I did move the arm mounting holes back a bit though on the chassis plat...

Re: Mid Motor Low CG Spec Carpet Monster
Your car is looking quite nice. I totally agree with the trans choice :D If you would want to keep the same size ballstuds and ballcups throughout the build there are two options I am aware of. 1. "Schumacher Pro Ball Stud" They have 3mm thread and a 4.26mm ball. Fits the AE cups. Amain h...

Re: Mid Motor Low CG Spec Carpet Monster
apologies if this is where you got the info and you know all about it already: check this listing over, it appears its the same build list you have there. this is from Niki's rpm style build, he does mention the wheel nuts fall outside of 250mm width https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&...

Re: Mid Motor Low CG Spec Carpet Monster
Klein arms are ordered. Once those come in I'll take an inventory of all the hinge pins I have, and what lengths I need. The ASC numbers that Niki lists are probably the closest available Associated parts, but I'm not completely happy with the length of hinge pin that sticks out beyond the side of t...

Got the b44 dogbone shafts installed. Rear end is looking really great, about 247mm wide.
The front Bandit arms push the width out to about 262mm. I think you guys have convinced me to buy some Klein arms.
