Re: What 1/8 E Truggy can I get?
You could always try finding a used one in decent condition. I personally refer buying a project rather than a shiny new kit most of the time.

Re: Kyosho Javelin Acquisition (what to do)
Very nice score, I have been wanting to pick up an Optima or Javelin for a long time but can never find one within my budget. I would run a run brushless in it just for the sake of easily being able to use li-pos without having to worry about a seperate low voltage alarm.

Re: What 1/8 E Truggy can I get?
I have a TRF 801XT converted into brushless, but since I can`t find parts..I was thinking of changing car. Can anyone recomend me a car? I have seen many 1/8 truggy , but they all are gas ! You could always convert a nitro truggy to electric, There are brushless conversion kits avaliable for most of...

Re: Tamiya TRF 211x
Even without having all of the original parts that is a very interesting car to own, I would have to say that was a great find. What's with the Orange and pink miss-matched rims?

Re: 1999 Jukka Steenari XX4 World Champ Replica
Wow that is awesome, I have never seen a front motor buggy like this. How does it handle with the motor up there? That body is beautiful. Did you paint it yourself?

I had never heard of these buggies before joining this forum and they are really starting to grow on me. And I am enjoying seeing all of these replica builds. Keep up the great work.

Do you mean that black Revo? If so, It is coated in rubberized undercoating. It is something new that bashers are doing to try to keep their bodies in one piece and protect them.EvolutionRevolution wrote:Why does it look furry? Coated in mold?

You did a great job replicating your old car. And the on track shots look awesome seeing that vintage buggy flying through the air.

Re: Kyosho's I've Owned
I loved the Raider I had...of course it was my first hobby grade car. I'm SO glad I went with it instead of a Ghopper or Hornet. My only disappointment was the discouragement at the local track because everyone one had RC10s or Jrx2s. My car was a toy in their minds. I don't really have the desire ...

Re: Kyosho's I've Owned
Looks great. Never knew that the Raider was a mid mount 2wd. Interesting. How did it go compared to others? Thank's. Honestly, I have had newer buggies and the Turbo Raider was always the buggy I went back to. It is so smooth and stable, The only time mine wasn't stable was when I was doing a high ...

Kyosho's I've Owned
Here are some Kyosho's I have owned, And some I still own. This Kyosho Turbo Raider was given to me by my dad who bought it new back in the late 80's. http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss105/Airsoftfan1/RC/007-1.jpg http://i566.photobucket.com/albums/ss105/Airsoftfan1/RC/039.jpg This is a Kyosho Tu...

Re: a project...finally!
This was an impresive restoration. I didn't see anyone answer your question about what body you originally had on the buggy, But I was surfing ebay yesterday and came across a reproduction of the body that came on your buggy made by TMB and it was called a CHENOWTH body.
