Those holes aren't used at all on any of the models, even the Super Champ, although that one has a few more holes in it elsewhere. You could add them for authenticity, but if you are going for authentic the chassis should be made of fibreglass. Well if I could get the 2mm thick fiberglass - the rig...

I'm making aluminum Sand Scorcher race chassis for Team CRP, and was told that I don't need to drill the 4 holes near the side edges of the rear. Have you checked on eBay for titanium sheet?

we definitely need some pictures here :!: 8) This was my first try. It is made out of .016 titanium, with a magnesium nosepiece. Is that a complete chassis with nose and motor sections?? How much would you charge for just a standard RC10 titanium tub with nose and tail? :idea: Also, do those have the holes in them or is that up to the builder? No tub's, just a flat chassis with the sides folded up. Holes are up to the builder.
