Re: Yokomo MX-4 SSG Special
Some progress. Mounted the battery and transponder posts onto the chassis and assembled the slipper clutch. The slipper clutch is quite a simple design and similar to the version on the MX-4. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/49983551888_2ab874700a_k.jpg IMG_3018 by Vincenzo Triventi , on Flickr h...

Re: Yokomo MX-4 SSG Special
Totally awesome, Vincenzo!!! Cheers Paul :D The Rayspeed Spring Cups came all the way from Switzerland  nice parts I never seen the SSG front damper stay for MX4, but why not have the rear? Thanks crusaderlyf2 (Yunfei?). I have the MX-4 SSG rear shock tower available but at the moment, I am l...

Yokomo MX-4 SSG Special
Hey everyone. It has been a while since I last posted on here with a build project and having been able to procure the parts needed for this Yokomo MX-4 Hybrid, I would like to share some of the parts used and build progress with you all. I was inspired by Cristian and his own Yokomo MR4-BC Special ...

Re: My YZ10 97
Very nice Timmy. That came up real good. What have you got left to complete the car? Any chance you can post a high resolution photo of the RRC magazine scan? I have been looking for that article for ages now. From what I remember, 'Masimi' did use a 97 Spec to win the 1997 IFMAR Worlds Warm Up Race...

Re: WCS correct front shock mount
No problems at all.
To answer your question, no they are not the same. The 93 WCS front tower is thinner and slightly different in design than the 94 YZ10 tower. By different I mean that the lower sides of the tower are radiused.
Part number is ZD-710

Re: WCS correct front shock mount
Now I am confused  I don't have Masami's 93 WCS to compare to but my guess is that the front shock tower is visually the same as the versions that were supplied in the 1993 WCS kits albeit slightly hand modified. Apart from the radiused bottom edge (WCS tower is also thinner), the Production 19...

Re: WCS correct front shock mount
Geometry wise, the shock towers on the 1993 WCS, 1994 YZ10 and 1995 WCS (Pavidis Edition) are the same with the 1995 WCS offering one less upper shock mounting hole. Visually, they are all different. Although the 1993 WCS and 1994 YZ10 shock towers look similar and are made from the same material, t...

Thank you Gentlemen.
I had a good time with friends and family. The weather is cooling down in my part of the world so Vodka, Gin and some Scotch was the order of the day.

Re: Dukomo JD beckwith replica
Damn x2 Welcome to the club Pedro. Your Dukomo looks more refined compared to mine (same as DjGonzo's). I think mine is an earlier version before JD Beckwith offered them to the public. Upon seeing the photos, I thought that was JD's actual car. Fantastic work Pedro just like all your builds. The p...
