Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Looks like the RC10 Mirage/Turbo Mirage (not sure of the difference between them). I think this is the same on my old TCP.

Re: Some losi parts variations

Early shocks also had a longer 'tab' on top, with the hole closer to the upper portion (not centered top to bottom). I don't have a picture as a comparison.

It's the GM "corporate" version of the Chevy Cavalier of the time. Outside of that, I don't know much more about it.

Finally upgraded to a high end radio, been a fan of RadioLink for a few years now - just got the RC8X. More menu options than I will ever understand or need.

Awesome, I'm part of that group, I had not seen anything offroad related (I may have missed it) yet. Let' grow it/build it up.

Re: LA/OC vintage meet up?

If you open it up to new timers 'd be happy to know. I can only make it to a track about every other year, but I'd be happy to try. If you are local or semi-local and serious, shoot me a message. 99% of all the info for the track is done via the Facebook page. Open dates for practice and races when...

Re: LA/OC vintage meet up?

For those still following this discussion - we meet up at a private track in Yucaipa a few times a year. We run organized races, old school hand count style, really only following the lead group. Its quite fun to toss our cars around the track with our modern electronics and tires. For those interes...

For the past two months, I've been in talks with a company overseas to brand some items for me. Well, first load arrived. I guess I better get off my rear end and get to packaging and put on my salesman hat... The birth of JK Racing (rc products)....That is not the name of the tires :( I showed them...

Re: The ultimate Mini JRX2 thread

I really need to ditch rattle cans, the inconsistency with them is killing me. I was the same way until a painter told me to heat the cans. Bowl with hot water, drop the can in. Be careful, as it may actually be too warm to pick up. Evens the spray and reduces 'spitting' and clumps associated with ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

After my B3, my second favorite rear motor AE is the B5 - very short lived and hard to find now. But that never stopped us hobbyists! Sourced all new plastics for a B5 rear motor car, and a fresh DR10 kit. I know I could have bough the RB10 and swapped the chassis, but I wouldn't have built the car ...

RogueIV wrote: Mon Mar 06, 2023 4:28 pm It's a shame they didn't go with 1.6" wheels, could have used the JC RC10 tires in that case. You could also probably stretch the JRX2 tires onto the JRXT wheels.
We used to mount 2.2 tires onto 2.0 wheels - I think a 1.6 on a 1.5 is a no brainer :)

Mini JrxT has holes for 14-16 tooth pinions and comes with a 15t.

Is my mind playing tricks? Wouldnt the larger pinion be further away from the spur, not closer?
