Re: Bi weekly LA/OC vintage meet up?

However,Id like to set up another meet for monday,3/25/13 at 7:00pm at OCRC in Huntington Beach. I know some pe...

Re: LA/OC vintage meet up?

Well, the meet up was pretty cool, considering it was hopefully the first of more to come. We hung out,did some practice driving, and just had a great time. Now for the big question. Should we make this event weekly,bi weekly,or monthly. The vintage cars definitely got alot of attention! Hey Mike,Love ...

Re: LA/OC vintage meet up?

I was actually thinking of the one on pch and 2nd street by the marina. But it just closed forever a couple days ago. Ill miss it for sure. Im thinking that it may be a better idea to have it at ocrc raceway in huntington beach. I understand that not everyone will want to run their cars, but those wh...

LA/OC vintage meet up?

Im curious how you guys feel about having a weekly/bi weekly vintage meet up and get together. The idea stems from our rc flying clubs bi weekly open meetings on tuesday evenings. Although theres no actual flying,we still have a good time with food, getting to know other members,b/s/t sessions, and br...

Re: A Vintage race in the West...

Ok. Now to pick a particular day/evening,time,and place. Anybody else onboard? We have several burger and pizza restaurants locally that have separate overflow and patio dining areas that can be used for our get togethers at no extra charge. I have a couple of places in particular that i spoke with ...

Re: A Vintage race in the West...

I have to agree with all of you on the race issue. However,Joey and I did discuss possibly having a weekly or even a bi weekly meet where we can just meet up,hang out, talk shop, and make new friends. This sounds a little more realistic. Our local rc flying club has open meetings like this to discuss ...

Re: 2.2 aluminum jellybeans

Thanks for the info! And the heads up on the bearing sizes.Im definitely gettin'me a set. I was actually thinking about keeping the screw holes. That way I can add some extra bling by putting in some blue or red annodized screws to make things really pop.

2.2 aluminum jellybeans

Theres a website called pargustore.com that advertises aluminum 2.2 jellybean wheel sets for $89.00 per set. They look pretty nice! I was thinking of buying a set,and was wondering if anybody else has had any experience with these wheels or dealing with their webstore. Any input would be appreciated.
