Re: Gear Cover

:? so you would use a spacer (the topshaftspacer 9602 ??) to do this. But wouldn't this spacer then press against the topshaft bearing and destroy the bearing?

Re: Gear Cover

I added a few spacers to get it aligned properly with the motorplate, but that doesnt't fix the "binding isue".

I guess the asso. inner slipper disc has some kind of flange to keep it from binding against the trans case..??

hope anyone can help cos this is frustrating!

Re: Gear Cover

Hi, perhaps a stupid question, but I see you're useing the TRIAD slipper right? I've tried that also, but the inner part of the slipper binds against the trans case because there's no "stop" on the b4 topshaft. What am I missing here? my car is a T3 with the ASC9601Team Associated Top Shaf...

Re: B3 transmission

update:

Idler gear itself fits BUT you do need different bearings and also the shaft is different. This means you also would need the TT trans. case. :(

RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set

Hi,

I run a T3 and would like to use the RPM70172 RPM Rear Hub Carrier Set.

It doesn't fit however, my CVD seems to bee to "short". What am I doing wrong, wrong type of CVD (do I need the T4's CVD) or do I need other rear arms?

thanx!

Re: B3 transmission

TT gears all fit perfectly (idler, diff. including the outdrives)

I've tried a number of other TT parts for my T3. there are a few differences. So just ask if you have questions!

Re: B3 transmission

Forgive this newbee, but you're thinking of buying the ASC7678 diff kit, but isn't that for the b4 and bigger so it won't fit the b3?

Light Weight Outdrive on T3

anyone knows if the Factory Team Light Weight Outdrive Set [ASC1766] fitt's a T3/B3?

And if so; does that makes sense or should I just use the standard version (or perhaps the thunder tiger version..)

thanx
